Relations are not complicated, people make them. Relationships are like precious possessions. We have to cherish and love them, most of all respect them. We have to respect each other's choices and decisions. There has to be mutual trust for a relationship to stand strong.

Nandini and Manik trusted each other, loved each other but was that enough?

But one thing we don't realize is that the decisions we make today have the power to control our tomorrow. The impulsive decisions have the capacity to destroy everything, including oneself.

The relationships shatter when there comes a change in priorities. People may give more important to the things, they never paid attention to before. They regret the decisions they made in the past and drive their future on the wrong track too. Then starts self loathing, depression and misery in everything you look around.

This gets dangerous if not healed with love and attention.

Manik was broken, Nandini could see that but he refused to be fixed. He was in too much of a dilemma. His parents loss had taken a huge troll on the poor soul.

"Manik, tum aa rahe ho nah dinner ke liye mere ghar. It's my birthday." Mukti said.

"Mukti, I don't really know. I have work to finish." Manik massaged his forehead in stress.

"Manik please. Birthday gift samaj kar hi aa jana. Tum aaoge toh mujhe acha lagega. Atleast try..." She said softly to which he nodded.

"I'll try." He said hugging her.

"Promise?"

"Promise." He planted a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Happy birthday." he whispered.

"Thank you. I am so happy that you are trying." She grinned. Manik nodded but his smile disappeared.

Later that evening everyone settled at the table waiting for Manik.

"Woh nahi aane wala." Alya spoke.

"He must be busy." Dhruv shrugged.

"He could have atleast called." Mukti said sipping some wine.

"It's been six months. He is still grieving." Alya said gaining everyone's attention.

"That's his choice." Cabir said softly.

"He refuses to talk to anyone of us." Dhruv shook his head. "I'm worried."

"Nandini, usne tumse toh kuch kaha hi hoga." Alya said eyeing Nandini.

"He always changes the topic when I try to bring the incident. He is ignoring me too from the past few days." Nandini blinked rapidly to avoid the tears that threatened to flow.

"I have to go." She abruptly stood up making everyone worry.

"Arey, nandini kaha?" Mukti called out to her.
