aquagirl13: Hello Doctor! It's nice to meet you! I'm Alicia! So my question is what do you personally look for in a friend and I have a slight problem I would like help with. I have this friend and she's not very nice to me, but I hate breaking off relationships. When ever I talk to her, she always changes the subject and whenever I get invited to hang, I'm always busy. But she's so rude to me; I don't know if i want to hang out. But like I said, I still want to be friends and so ... Yeah. Thanks Doctor! It's been an honor to talk to you!! :)

Well Alicia. I think I look for kindness, honesty, and someone who will stick by my side when everyone else is against me. Someone who will love me for my personality, not just my looks.

And for your problem, I think, if you still want to be friends, try inviting her to a couple of things. If she doesn't thank you for inviting her or she becomes more mean, I think you should start ignoring her except for the friendly nod or little 'hello' when you pass in the hallways. If she doesn't try to still be your friend during that, then she isn't worth your time.
