A Fish stick Tail

The last bell rang and practically everyone went crazy. Star grabbed our stuff and met me in the front of the school.

"Ready to go," Star said, handing me my stuff. I rolled my eyes at her as she pulls my arm not waiting for an answer. We walk for a bit till we come across a building sticking out like a sore thumb.

"Okay, what are we gonna do to get kicked out here, wherever here is?" I have never seen this place, and it's too exotic. The building is covered in seashells and sparkles in the sun. It looks more like something you would see in the sand, not In-between two normal looking buildings. It looks as if it's from an anime, not reality.

Star saw my confusion of the building. "don't worry, It's a new cafe a friend of mine's family owns,"

"Since when do you have  friends I don't know about?" I question her.

She shrugs and pulls the door open becking me to enter. I walk in and Star follows. The walls are sea blue with paintings of beautiful merpeople hanging in golden frames. The inside is small, so there are only five tables. The floor is a coral green. It appears an underwater theme. A girl who looks about our age comes up to us. She has a blond pixy cut and is dressed in a desaturated yellow tank top, white shorts, and orange and yellow flip-flops

"STAR, you came," she seems so happy about it.

"Of course I came, I wanted to see how it got adapted to the land," Star replies. I look at her so confused. The words she is saying does not make sents to me. Adapted to the land  What does she mean.  The girl leads us to a table that is close to a painting of a mermaid who has a rose gold tail, seashell bra, and hair. Her hair is in a loose braid and she has a lot of pearls and necklaces on. For some reason or another, I feel like I have seen her before. The girl comes back with menus and hands them to us.  She goes and leads a couple of people to another table then disappears behind a blue door that I assume is a kitchen. 

"So what did you mean by Adapted to the land?" I narrow my eyes at Star.

She laughed and said, "it used to be located above their house witch it outside of town. I met that girl at the beach one day her name Is sun. She has a twin brother named Quarts."

"Oh, that makes sense," I nod, " This place is pretty thou."  Sun comes back and asks us what we would like. I order a chocolate muffin and mint tea, and Star gets a crabcake muffin, a tuna muffin and a glass of water. Sun leaves with our orders.

"So after this, we need to stop by my house, I forgot to pack my bag for tonight, then we get to start our slumber party."

"You might also want t change, I don't think your mom wants you to get it messed up."

"I'm not the one who cant eat without wearing her food as lipstick," Star teases. She and I love to tease each other about stuff.

Sun comes back with our food. My food looks completely normal, but Star's, on the other hand, looks like fishy cornbread. I eat my muffin and it is so good. Star urges me to try a bit of hers, and they are surprisingly not bad. Not bad at all.
