my big sister had just come to pick me up from work and my little sister up from school. we all stayed pretty much quite all the way home, all you could hear was the sound of the car and outside distractions. when we pulled into the driveway I saw a familiar car parked at the door. Hallie almost instantly realized who's car it was and ran toward the door. she opened the door and Carmen and I both stared in disbelief at the sight before us. everything was torn down and that dreadful man sat on our floor. how dare he come and rip shit down like he belonged here how dare he even show his face. before I could do anything to help Hallie was already a crossed the room sitting on his lap. poor Hallie was too young to understand wat this man had done to our family so she loved him despite all his flaws. not to say its such a bad thing but if he hurts her like he hurt the rest of the family I will personally kill him myself. I called Hallie to go upstairs. before we could make it all the way upstairs my big sister Carmen began to cry. her beautiful gray eyes swelled and turned red. I took her to my room so we could talk. she stared at me with great depression in her eyes and I almost cried with her but I knew I had to stay strong for her. "I can't believe he actually came here. What is his purpose to hurt us again?" she squeaked out between sobs. "don't worry about it whatever his purpose may be, if it's not good intentions ill kill him." her eyes widened at my comment but then her eyes settled on something else and depression filled her face once again. I turn to see our father standing at the door. by the look on his face, I could tell he had been crying. for what I don't know and at this point I don't care. My eyes were filled with anger and I could feel my fist clenching. "Well, you got a lot of nerve showing your face around here, don't you? You turn into a fucking monster and then when you feel bad about it, you leave instead of making shit better!!" My own words became a blur to my mind and I had no clue what it was I was saying anymore.honestly I didn't know what anyone was saying until my sister carmen spoke. "I can't believe you think coming here and to say I'm sorry would bring you back into the family nobody has open arms for you!" He stared in complete and utter shock as did I she hadn't spoken to our father since this all this stuff started. In my mind, i applauded her as she told him off she was one step closer to getting over her fear she screamed for him to leave and just like that he was gone but I knew better to think it would be forever.
