Previously on Infinity Orbs…
“Where are we? Why does my stomach hurt? What happened? Who is she?” Maya asked. “Well explain later for now you need to sleep.” Gaea answered Maya layed down and immediately fell asleep.
“If you're wondering, I couldn't save the baby.” Gaea answered as I sighed and sat next to Maya bed on a chair hold her hand
Lets see how Noah is doing.
“Let's make this interesting. If you beat me in a deathmatch then you and Mavis can go free. But if you don't well you die.” Zeta bargned.
“Fine by me.” Noah agreed as Zeta threw the first few punches.
The first punch glanced Noah’s chin. He noticed too late that it was a feint, though, when the
second punch doubled him over.
It was a heck of a shot. Outside of having the wind knocked from him, which he always hated,
Noah noticed a fair amount of pain with the gutshot, which was something he wasn’t used to. A
hit to the face, yes, or even the kidney.
He stood straight, eyes bulging with rage, and stared at his opponent— Zeta—right in her shifty little eyes. Zeta tried to stand tall.
“You…little…” Noah took a lurching step forward with each word. On the third, he swung: “Punk!”
The blow felt too sluggish. Noah knew the second he launched it. Zeta ducked under it.
Before Noah could even register the dodge, however, another body shot, this one to his ribs, sent fresh ripples of pain through his torso.
He didn’t fall—he made absolutely
sure he did not fall—but it was a lot closer than he’d have liked.
Zeta went in for another shot. Noah shoved him off.
Seeing the kid scoot back so far against the weight of it gave him a second wind.
He covered the distance between them. Threw three more punches that did land. Zeta fell.
Noah was about to land the final blow on Zeta but stopped. “Noah wait! This is what she wants! If you kill her you kill Ella.” Mavis explained.
“Fine. I'll let you live only because Ella is one of my closest friends. Oh and send this message to you husband. If he tries to hurt Mavis and her friends again, he'll have more to worry about than Carly's vendetta on him.” Zeta then tried to say something.
“Fair warning Noah… me and Hades are nothing compared to the things that are to come. Their coming for them… and their nothing you can do about it… The Veazanee are coming… coming for them…” Zeta warned them before passing out.
