"DYLAN!!" With a huge jump, I tackle my male best friend into a hug, wrapping my legs around his waist in the process.

He stops where he is, on the sidewalk, in front of some random girl' porch. I look up at him from beneath my long lashes and give him a wide smile, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Hey, Eve. Tell me, how come I get to see your beautiful face today so up close?" He winks down at me, already over my initial interruption of his fun time.

Now don't worry- Dylan and I would always flirt a bit with each other, but it was only light-hearted and neither one of us wanted anything more than friendship.

"Well, you know you're kind of a playboy Dally..."

He frowns playfully.

"But guess what?!" I yell in his face, and he drops me to the floor.

"I really need your help, it's important!"

He lets out a sigh.

"What is it you need help with, Three?"

"Well, there's this boy..." I begin.

"Oh dear God, please don't tell me you want me to help you to get noticed by your 'Prince Charming'!" He says, the last word an octave too high for my ears.

I wince, and shoot him a look as we start walking the few blocks to "The Street", which is basically our town's outdoor strip mall.

"Ew, no, Dally. It's not like that! This jerk broke Cora's heart and that of many other girls, so I absolutely despise him! He is an arrogant butt and I want you to help me with making him fall for me." I tell him.

"Still not cussing, I see." He smiles.

"Shut up. Are you going to help or not, you biscuit?"

"What exactly do you expect me to do?  I don't have the power to make him magically fall in love with you in order to destroy him." He says, sarcastically.

I roll my eyes at him for not catching on as fast as I wanted him to.

"Dylan! YOU are a guy right?" Now he had a look of pure confusion written on his face as he slowly nodded his head.

"Weeelllll, you see, I just thought that you could give me some tips on how to get him to take interest in me... Can you do that?" I ponder, as we cross a street.

We're almost there.

"Oh! Yeah, of course I can. I mean... you've got all the requirements." He said with a cheeky grin, letting his eyes slowly trail over my body, as if memorizing a map.

Fed up with his player-like behavior, I quickly hit him on the head before continuing.

"Anyways, I want you to take this seriously! I can't screw this up!"

"No need to get violent, princessa," Dylan muttered, whilst rubbing the spot where I hit him a few seconds ago. "All I was attempting to say is, that boys are visual creatures and that you definitely got the looks." He winked at me. "I don't think it will be hard to make him run after you. We only need to buy you a few new things to make you more confident."

I shot him a confused look, as we continued, finally turning onto The Street.

"What do you mean, buy 'a few new things'? What is wrong with what I have right now? And for confidence? Please tell me you hit your head during your last conquest." I didn't get a reply seeing as he simply laughed and made his way to a lingerie shop across the road, without even bothering to see whether I was following him or not.
