Erwin was a calm flyer. He had no problem getting onto the giant hunk of metal. A piece of metal about to be flinging through the air like a sling shot, and then strapping himself into it - it didn't phase him at all. But for Levi, however, it did.

"Levi, you'll be fine," Erwin whispered, leaning over to his business partner- or boyfriend partner, depending on who asked. "This isn't the first time you've flown,"

"First time overnight. And across an ocean. What if the pilot falls asleep?" He hissed back face turned to look coldly up at Erwin's placid one. The blond shook his head and chuckled lightly, giving the tickets to the woman in front of the gate. She smiled, wordlessly telling them to get on the plane.

Levi was gripping the skin on his crossed arms, bare from the shoulder down because of his white t-shirt, digging his nails into the skin leaving tiny white crescents.

Erwin sighed and set the carry on bag down under their seats when they found it. It was first class, their executives had paid for it, and the seats were large and soft, perfect for a flight this length. He sat down and looked up expectantly at the stubborn man.

"I'm not sitting down." Levi firmly said. There were a few people trying to gently push him aside, but he wasn't budging.

Color rose in Erwin's cheeks. "Levi. You're making a scene, just sit down,"

Levi shook his head and opened his mouth to say something, but was then interrupted by a flight attendant tapping his shoulder. "Sir, please be seated. I will have to ask you to move to a different section of the plane if you can't."

Levi's eyes widened and he met Erwin's frantically. Erwin cocked his eyebrow, waiting for Levi's response. Rivaille was sure he could probably maybe get through the flight peacefully if he were sitting next to Erwin. Alone in an enirely different part of the plane was out of the question.

Sighing, he slowly slid into the seat to the right of Erwin. There were only two seats on one side of the aisle, so no one would have to worry about Levi clinging to them but Erwin.

The black haired man started tapping the arm rests of the chair anxiously and rhythmically, keeping his eyes focused on the information on the seat in front of him. *In case of an emergency...* He felt Erwin buckle his seatbelt for him and then reach under the seat to pull out a pack of gum. Levi opened his mouth slightly as Erwin presented an unwrapped piece to him.

The seats rumbled and lurched as the plane began to move. Immediately Levi's hand went for Erwins. He was gripping the other's hand so tightly he was sure the circulation would be cut off for a while. The plane's engines whirred louder and they started leaning back.

Levi's eyes squinted tightly, and he mumbled just enough for Erwin to hear, "Please take me back."
