Nine hundred ninety nine years ago, men and hellions fought in a savage war. Towns burn, Cities turn to dust, Countries reduce to cinders. The massive battle continued until rivers flowed blood and mountains were made from dead bodies. Human talents can't simply match paranormal powers held by each monster.Great empires started to fall. Fortresses did their best to hold and delay the demons from reaching their capitals as long as they can.
The slaughter continued for straight five years. Hellions started to grasp there awaited victory. Their number doubled humankind's last population count. They continued to spread throughout the nations. Humanity was driven to the brink of complete annihilation. Until there first ray of hope unveiled to light.
Alphonse Reinhardt, man's greatest alchemist successfully tampered the boundary blocking man's ability to harness nature's power. He started to gain strength beyond of current man which equaled the hellions. He started to wield forgotten magic stronger than any tomes use by mages. Nature granted him power beyond imagination. He broke mankind's restrictions.
To aid in humanity's battle the Alchemist started to forge weapons of divinity. Made from essence of nature itself, those sacred weapons was granted to the world's fiercest warriors. The eight Kings.
Men began to escalate from the depths of downfall, steered by the kingdom of Avalon home of the great Alchemist and ruled by benevolent king Arthur.Even at young age Arthur showed prodigious strength, he excelled in every way, during his eighteenth birthday, he visited a village near there border escorted by only one royal guard, on that same day the town was attacked by bandits. Like a knight's description, Arthur fought back to back with his protector, his natural talent for swordplay shone on the battlefield, even going against ten armed men, he was unstopped. That was the time brigands and pirates cowered at fear hearing his name. The 'legend knight' Arthur.
Now in his twenty fifth in life the strongest knight faces the biggest war since the age of gods. He slashed back and forth with his blade, each cleave piercing deeply, tearing flesh and bones, he can even heard the eerie howls the demon lets as they were vanquished. This was the last garrison Avalon had before the fiends reach their capital, which he wasn't about to let happen. He drove his saber forward, directly to the chest of a hellhound, blood splashed to his face as he stared into its ruby polished eyes as it breathe its last. He exhaled. He looks back at the capital not far from where he stood the huge castle that sat there for ages its high walls impenetrable but after a long time it is threatened to be breached. 'As long as I live no hellion will even touched its surface. What would the previous rulers think if I let these beasts ruptured our castle, the heart of our motherland'. He now pondered whether Alphonse has already completed his work.
After transferring the command to Sven, the highest general, Arthur leap to his horse and rode back to the capital hoping the Alchemist was already done.
The moon was already shining along with the stars by the time he arrived at the walls of the castle. The castle guards acknowledge there king with salute, Arthur hurriedly jump off the horse and run to the castle's forgery where Alphonse stood at the door a big grin on his face.
Alphonse was only a year older to his king, but his work made him look ages older, now facing his friend his blue royal cloak was dusted to black and his blonde locks was dyed with blood, but his emerald eye still shone regally and tells majesty. He now said with anticipation hanging in his eyes, "It is time", then gestured his hand inside the room where his greatest work was done.
The moment Arthur step inside, power surge deep in his bones, the room itself roars with power. He scans the room saw the weapons stacked in each table, and he could tell what calls him.
