Term is a whole week in, Tobias and Draco couldn't have been happier. Tobias still was completely attracted to Draco, and Draco was to Tobias. Lucius however has resumed his normal manner to Draco, this meant he would remain safe and sound. The only thing Tobias cared about. His happiness could wait. Tobias had missed all of his Defence against the dark arts lessons, he was busy with Professor Snape talking and explaining Draco's situation at home. Apparently this had all happened when Narcissa had been absent from the house, so when Severus had told her, it had not played out very well for Lucius.

Tobias was almost skipping down the hall with excitement, his first lesson with Gryffindors and the new Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts. He heard he was a joke, so Tobias was thrilled to see this in action. Obviously over the Christmas break, Professor Snape has covered him up until the end of second year. He apparently knew that Quirrell would not last until next year due to Dumbledore, he also knew who would be replacing him. This meant he had no worry, he could fool about and be as sarcastic as he wished, knowing fully that he will pass. He sat in his designated seat, which was with Draco. When the blonde man walked in, his yellow cloaks trailed behind him. Tobias immediately knew, this would be very fun.

'Let me introduce you to your new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher. Me.' He laughed. Tobias already hates this man.
'What a fraud?' Tobias called out, this arose a laugh out of the class.
'Excuse me, why don't you stand?' Tobias stood.
'Ah, Tobias Potter. What a pleasure.'
'Wish I could say the same.' Tobias had no clue what had gotten into him.
'You seem very rude, for twelve years of age.' He leaned on the desk. Almost squaring up with the boy. Trying to test how far he will stretch.
'You seem very self centred given how ugly you are.' Almost the whole class was shocked by his comments. The only one who thought this normal was Draco, who had seen the sassy side of the raven haired boy.
'Step outside.' Victory! Tobias gathered his things and left the room, that must have been a record.

He sat down, his back pressed against the wall and a book on his lap. Recently he had taken an interest in astronomy, all of the constellations, planets and other extra terrestrial life. His main interest right now was mars, he was thinking about how he could live life. What happens when the sun eventually expands, taking Venus, Mercury and possibly Earth? They would need to move, to where though? Should they move, in his opinion humans did not deserve Earth. Humanity did not deserve to live on. Well, that was in his perspective. The door opened and the blonde headed man came, a large, sickly, fake smile plastered on his face.

'I am, willing to let you enter again. However, I don't want comments like that-
'Because they're true-
'No, because I am the teacher. I'm letting you enter again, purely out of my generosity, you should repay me with your silence.' He added another smile and a fake 'aha' at the end of generosity.
'I would rather, not.' Lockhart had clearly never suffered from refusal, so he pumped out his chest, walked back in and retrieved a note.
'Take this to Professor Snape. He can deal with you.' Tobias took it turned the corner, and walked down to the staff room.

What a wonderful idea, send him to his Godfather who loves him dearly. It was as if, this man would punish him, take away all his house points and give him months worth of detention. Of course this is what will happen, and honestly Tobias was terrified of seeing the man who is raising him to eloquently insult people. Terrified. Truly petrified. He turned the corner and opened the door to the room, everyone was used to his entrances now. Surprisingly, he was not there. When he saw no one was there, he did not know whether he was to try and find the man or go back to lesson. He decided on heading back to lesson, Lockhart would surely love him.

When he had entered they all had been taking a test, as he made his way over to Lockhart he glanced at the questions. What is Gilderoy Lockharts favourite colour? Harry had answered yellow, which was a safe guess given how much he looked like a sunflower. That died. Yet still pretends to be beautiful and living. Tobias reached out and grabbed the quill, he dipped it in ink and scratched out his brothers answer. He replaced it with black, it is the best to cover up my failure. This gave a roar of laughter from Ron as well as Harry, who almost fell off his chair. The test was soon passed around the class and all but most of the girls were in hysterics, the only girls who thought it was as equally funny were Nova and Pansy. Tobias swore Nova had taken a photo, if she had that test will be posted around school. The class door opened and the atmosphere broke, in came Lucius Malfoy. The one person Tobias wished dead.

'Lockhart, I wish to speak with young Tobias Potter in private. If I may.' He spoke slowly, obviously trying to intimidate Tobias. This had not worked, he stood tall in front of Draco and had his hand tightly on his wand. Depressingly, Tobias was forced by the Professor who said he would be fine. He followed this...man- no this beast to an empty classroom. He sat as far as physically possible and as close to the window he could. Tobias would rather jump then let this man take his life, it was an awkward minute or two of silence. Then Lucius spoke up.

'So, you and my son- are a...' he trailed off, not knowing how to phrase himself.
'...as the youth say, an item.' He spoke carefully.
'No.' Tobias spoke harshly, he didn't want anything to do with this man.
'Well, I have a conditional offer, in it you and Draco may date and I will not have an issue with it.' This seemed dodgy.
'And the other part...'
'When the Dark Lord inevitably rises, at the age of sixteen, you shall become a death eater with Draco. If not, you shall never, ever see my son again.' Lucius sat smugly looking towards Tobias.
