Roman spots Julian on a balcony above. Taking a deep breath, he begins to use his best-loud-speaking-voice to declare his love.

"What is that light? That handsomely blinding light from above. It makes me unable to heckin' see. I am blinded by the light of my love. You are far more handsome than all the non-existent stars in the sky, because of light pollution. The stars are sadd because they are stuck up there in the sky, without your handsomeness to corrupt them. Their live and mine are meaningless and boring without you, your devilish handsomeness has corrupted us all. We beg for you."

Julian steps out onto the balcony and leans on the handrail, basking in Roman's declaration. He leans onto his hand and giggles, "Oh my."

"He speaks! My love! Oh how I wish I was your hand so I could embrace you. To hold those warm, supple cheeks. Speak again my dear, so I can bathe once again in your harmonious voice."

"Oh Roman, Roman. Why must you be Roman? If you truly loved me I would stop being a Cap." Julian sighs, "It is only your name that is the enemy. You would still be you if you were to leave the Monday name. What even is a Monday, but then, what is a Cap? You would be just as sweet and handsome by any other name. Leave your name, take all of me in exchange."

"For you," Roman says, "I would go by any name."

Julian stares down at Roman, a thought pops into his head. "How did you get here anyway?" he inquires, grining as wide as the Cheshire Cat.

Roman looks down at the ground, embarrassed. He rubs the back of his neck and chuckles nervously. "Umm..."

Julian leans forward, intrigued.

"I snuck out. Over the wall. And... I ran into a brick wall."

Julian bursts into uncontrollable laughter. Roman flushes with embarrassment and Julian stops laughing, quickly becoming worried for Romans safety.

"You know, if the security sees you, it won't be pretty."

"I'd risk my life and limb for you, my sweet," says Roman.

"And I, would risk anything to keep them from seeing you. How did you know this was my balcony?"

"I followed your blinding radiance and my heart lead me to your door." Roman once again becomes visibly nervous, "And I've been watching you for a long time and you frequent that spot often."

"You are very charming and I dare to say I have fallen for you. I can tell you this, I am not easy to handle. Some dare to call me clingy. Are you sure you are up for the challenge of handling the Great Julian Cap?" Julian finishes with a flourish and a hand on his hip.

"I swear by the moon-"

"Do not swear by the moon, it is far too inconsistent. The moon is constantly changing shapes and brightness, it never lasts. Do not swear by anything, I know by your efforts of getting here, what your intentions are. We, however much we feel for one another, should not jump into this the way we would be expected to. Let's take a step back and think before we move too far too fast."

Roman agrees, "But are you still going to leave me unsatisfied after all my efforts?"

Before Julian can reply, he hears a shout coming from Nine on the other side of his bedroom door. "Stay here," he says to Roman, "I'll go see what they want." Julian leaves the balcony and flings open his door with such force that the door almost pulls him with it. "What?" Julian asks Nine, who is standing in front of him with a smirk.

"Whatcha doin'?" Nine asks.

"None of your business." Julian snaps back.

"C'mon Julian, I know he's here. I wanna see him," Nine begs.

"No."

"Pleeeeease?"

This back-and-forth continues for sometime until Julian finally gives in and lets Nine pass him through his bedroom and onto the balcony. "Roman?" Julian says as he joins Nine.

"Down here, my sweet." says Roman, giving a little wave to catch Julian's attention.

"I tried to stop them-" Julian is cut off by Nine nearly launching theirself over the railing of the balcony.

"OH MAI GOD! JULIAN! HE IS SOOOO CUTE!" Nine squeals as they gawk at Roman. Their words cause Roman to become visibly flushed, his face and ears turning red.

Roman looks around to find something to free him from Nine's gawking. He looks down at his watch, seeing that it is becoming very late, nearly midnight. "I should get going for tonight, I shall send for you, Julian, tomorrow. What time would be best?"

"What a shame he has to go so soon." Nine pouts.

"Send for me by noon. Stay safe on your way home." Julian says.

"I love you Julian," says Roman, sneaking back into the brush, "I shall send for you by noon."

When Roman is gone, Julian turns to Nine who is grinning stupidly. "What?" he questions.

"Noooooothing."

"I am going to bed. Good night Nine," Julian says as he pushes Nine out the door, closing it despite their protests. Leaning against the door, he sighs. He begins to get ready for bed, brushing his hair and teeth, and changing out of his day clothes. Starting with his shirt, slowly pulling it over his head and tossing it onto the floor, his head filled with thoughts of Roman as he climbs into bed and shuts off his light for the night, awaiting the next day.

Roman climbs down from his tree, it was the perfect height to see into Julian's bedroom, he will not admit to himself how long he has been spying on Julian from this tree. Before beginning his trek home, Roman has to calm himself down, taking a few deep breaths and clearing his thoughts, he begins on his way. Making sure to stay under brush and out of sight of street lamps. "Good night my sweet."
