While Hector was busy finishing up Miguel's disguise, he told me to go look for a dress that covers up my...fleshy parts.
Miguel was kind enough to hand me his jacket as I roamed around the stalls of never ending clothes.
"You There!"
I froze before turning around to meet a female skeleton with a lot of make up caked on her face. I'm not saying she overdid herself.
"It's Dia de los Muertos what are you doing wearing like that?"
I looked at Miguel's jacket and my blue shirt and jeans before asking "What's wrong with it?" With a roll of her eyes she pulled me in a stall.
"It doesn't fit the festive day muchacha, you need to look your very best!"
Before I could even make a retort or say something, she pushed me in a dressing room and began throwing random dress outfits, all brightly colored.
Dios mio, she sounds like my Abuelito!
"Pick any dress you want for tonight niña. I want to see your very best!"
Well, Hector did I'd say to blend in.
With my arms and hands already skeletal, I just need a dress that covers my body and my legs.
I skimmed through the dresses and find them a bit too colored for my taste.
"Um...señora, do you have something less...brightly colored?"
I waited for about 2 minutes before a black and purple Mexican dress was flung inside the dress room.
It was less flashy and goes well with my current state!
I walked out with the dress on before she pulled me again to a make up shop.
"What are you doing?!" I asked in surprise as the lady scoffed.
"As if I'm going to let you off with that dress but still looking like a la misma pobre? No! I will not accept that!"
I wonder how long I was gonna be here for a while.

Miguel and Hector scanned the crowd for any signs of Angelita but were of no luck.
"Do you think the cops got her?" Hector asked and Miguel shook his head in denial. He knew Angelita, she was way too stubborn and hard headed to be brought down by the police.
But you haven't seen her yet.
Swallowing down his nervousness and doubt, they continued on before they heard someone yell out "Perfecto!" And Angelita dashed out of a random stall with her dress billowing behind her.
"You'll thank me later once a man caught your eye niña!"
They heard someone scream out before Angelita spotted them and hastily made her way towards them.
"Never go to stalls again!"
Angelita growled while Miguel was currently looking up and down at her in shock. Hector raised an invisible brow at Angelita.
"When I said blend in I didn't say fully blend in"
Angelita shrugged "some la loca decided to doll me up" She grumbled, crossing her arms.
"Eres linda..."
Miguel mumbled out before widening his eyes at what he said. Thank goodness Angelita was busy trying to lessen up the make up plastered on her.
