Please do not skip this part it's meant to clarify a couple of things.
1. Casey is dead. If you remember, at the end of Wrongful Lust Casey decided to keep Adonis alive so he could go through what he did. Dylan on the other hand had other plans for Adonis, and when Casey didn't agree he shot and killed him. "Taye" is Dylan not Casey. A lot of you guys are confusing the two characters, the name change will be explained later in the book. Just know that Taye and Dylan are the same person.
2. The characters in this story—Emerson, Damien & Tahj—do not know that Casey is dead. So they will keep referring to Casey since they don't know he's dead. They don't know what happened that night, they only found Adonis' body.
