Ethan's POV

I walked into the jewelry store ready to buy just a plain necklace. I looked around the store and found three plain necklaces. One of them was simple, your average necklace. The other was higher quality. The third had 24 carrot gold in it and was in my opinion the prettiest out of all 3.

I asked the person behind the counter to take all three out so I can see them. She took them out and placed them on the shiny glass counter.

Cashier: If you don't mind me asking, who are you shopping for? Your mom? Girlfriend?
Ethan: My brothers girlfriend actually
Cashier: Oh that's the first...
Ethan: No no no not in that way, I'm buying it so that he can give it to her.
Cashier: Ahhh that makes more sense.

I studied the necklaces more in detail. I looked at the third one and admired how beautiful it was again. I put it down and stopped looking at them. I looked back up at the cashier.

Ethan: How much for this one?

Your POV

I walked into Victoria Secret and started looking around. The store wasn't that full, maybe about 6 other people other than me. I went to the perfume section and smelled all of them. I chose one that I liked and decided to buy it for myself. I paid for it and walked out of the store and into the food court to meet Ethan. He was already there waiting for me.

Ethan: What did you get
Y/n: Just got a perfume, where'd u go?
Ethan: Er um, hooters.
Y/n: There's no hooters here-
Ethan: LOOK A PUPPY!
Y/n: OMG WHEREEE
Ethan: RIGHT THEREE

He pointed at a puppy about 25 feet away from us.

Y/n: Awww! Ethan I wanna touch it!!
Ethan: Let's go then!

We both got up and went towards the owner.

Y/n: Your puppy's so cute! Can I touch him/her?

The owner looked up

No

He looked exactly like the person that kidnapped me. I backed up and my eyes went wide. I looked at Ethan and he looked at me confused. I ran away as fast as I could.

Ethan's POV

Right when the owner looked up y/n looked so scared, like she saw a ghost or something. I looked at her confused. She backed up and started running.      "Y/n!" I called out to her. I have no idea what happened.

Owner: Is your...is your friend ok?
Ethan: I don't know, I have no idea why she did that. I'm gonna go check on her.
Owner: Alright, I hope she's ok.

She walked away and I heard her heels hitting the floor. I turned around and ran where y/n went. I couldn't find her so I just went outside of the mall in the parking lot and called her. It rang a few times then she answered.

Ethan: Y/n wtf happened? Are you ok??
Y/n: What do you mean am I ok?! He's gonna get us we need to go where are you Ethan!!

I heard her voice crack and she started to cry.

Ethan: Ok....Y/n calm down...who's going to get us. What are you talking about?
Y/n: The guy that kidnapped me! You didn't see him?! He was the owner of the puppy!
Ethan: Y/n...the owner was a girl...
Y/n: No it wasn't!!
Ethan: Yes it was! She was wearing red heels and red lipstick.
Y/n: What wtf? E where are you
Ethan: The parking lot where are you?
Y/n: I'm- uh- idk I'm freaking out right now. I'll go to the parking lot hold on.
Ethan: Okay
