Ethan's POV

Y/n couldn't stop crying, so much was going on. Once one of the paramedics was done hooking Grayson to a machine, she grabbed a empty blood bag and asked me if I was ready. I nodded my head and sat down in the empty seat.

She connected a tube to the bag and pushed a needle into the inside of my arm. I watched as my blood flowed through the tube into the bag. As my blood was getting drawn I looked at Grayson. I zoned out as I stared at my twin brother getting CPR right in front of me.

I got so lost in my thoughts I didn't even notice the blood bag was close to being full. The paramedic pulled the needle out of my arm and disconnected the tube. She had long brown wavy hair, green eyes, and full lips. I looked at her name tag. "Maylee" I read. She smiled at me. I didn't even realize I said her name out-loud.

"He's breathing!" The male paramedic yelled. Maylee rushed by Grayson's side and connected my blood bag to a different tube. She stuck the needle into the vein on Grayson's wrist. I saw y/n grab Grayson's other hand and put her head on his chest. She was sobbing. Then I noticed...So was I.

Y/n's POV

Male paramedic: He's breathing!

As soon as I heard those words my heart skipped a beat. I was so relieved. I grabbed Grayson's hand and laid my head on his chest, continuing to sob. I couldn't imagine loosing Grayson...hopefully I don't.

After a while I looked up and felt the ambulance start moving, I heard the siren start going off as well. Apparently the male paramedic was driving and the female paramedic (Maylee) was back here with Grayson, Ethan, and me, keeping an eye on Grayson and his heartbeat. She was also cleaning Grayson's wound.

I looked at the heart monitor. His heartbeat was steady. I looked away and took a deep breath. I saw Ethan out of the corner of my eye. His eyes and nose were red from crying. He was connected to a blood bag, so was Grayson.

Y/n: E- Ethan?
Ethan: Yeah?
Y/n: How you feeling...
Ethan: A little light headed but I'll be ok, it'll make Grayson better.
Maylee (paramedic): Um, would you like some water and a snack?
Ethan: Yes please

She handed him a opened bottle of water and a few cookies. She seemed to be around our age.

Ethan: Thank you
Y/n: If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
Maylee: I'm 18, I know pretty young for a paramedic right?
Ethan: Yeah, your a pretty good one though.

She gave him a light smile meanwhile she unhooked him from the blood bag and put a bandage on him.

Maylee: How about you guys?
Y/n: Well um...all 3 of us are 18 as well.
Maylee: Oh wow, that's pretty cool.
Y/n: Yeah, oh and btw...I'm y/n, that's Ethan, and this is Grayson....
Maylee: Nice to meet you guys. If you don't mind me asking...how did he get shot?
Ethan: It's a really long story...
Maylee: Oh, sorry for asking it was probably a bad time anyways.
Y/n: It's ok, I don't blame you.

She threw away Grayson's empty blood bag and connected him to a new one. I felt the ambulance come to a stop.

11:30 pm

The male paramedic got out of the ambulance fast and opened the back doors. Me and Ethan got out then they took Grayson out of the ambulance. They rushed him into the hospital and we followed. Me and Ethan were about to follow when the male paramedic told us we couldn't go in and we had to wait in the waiting room. I wanted to go in with Grayson so badly. But me and Ethan turned back and sat down in 2 chairs that were next to each other.

Ethan: Do you think he'll be ok?
Y/n: Yeah, because of you.
Ethan: Me?
Y/n: Yes you, without the blood you gave him he....he probably wouldn't have made it.
Ethan: I guess you can say that.
Y/n: Are you feeling better? Or are you still light headed.
Ethan: I'm still pretty light headed, when we were speed walking into the hospital I felt like throwing up.
Y/n: Damn...you wanna go to the cafeteria meanwhile we wait? You can get more water and it'll help me get my mind off of things...
Ethan: Yeah, I can get my mind off of things too..
Y/n: Alright let's go

We both stood up and went to the cafeteria. We found a vending machine and Ethan got a bottle of water.

Ethan: You want some?
Y/n: Sure I'll have some

I did a waterfall with his water bottle to drink water.

Ethan: What are you doing
Y/n: What do you mean?
Ethan: You can drink out if it y/n. I'm fine with it.
Y/n: Ok

I thought nothing of it and drank out of the water bottle. Once I was done I gave him back the water bottle. I saw him put down the water bottle and come close to me. He put his hands on my waist and he was about to kiss me. I pushed him away.

Y/n: Woah woah woah Ethan what are you doing?! You know I have a thing with you brother
Ethan: Sorry sorry, Im just- I just-

He broke down crying.

Y/n: Ethan what's wrong

I wrapped my arms around his neck in a hug. After a while we pulled away from the hug.

Ethan: I'm scared
Y/n: Ethan...he'll be fine I promise you. I'm just as scared as you are.
Ethan: Ok ok I'm sorry
Y/n: For what?
Ethan: I'm sorry for trying to kiss you, I was just trying to get out of reality and get my mind off of things.
Y/n: It's ok Ethan, you didn't mean to. Let's head back alright?
Ethan: Ok

We walked back to the waiting room and just as we were going to sit down Maylee came out of the emergency room. She walked up to me and Ethan.

Maylee: You guys can come see him now. He woke up.
Ethan: Thank you
Maylee: No problem, I'll walk you guys.

We followed her until we got to Grayson's room. I saw Grayson and my eyes lit up. I speed walked to him, gave him a hug and showered him in kisses.
Grayson laughed lightly and gave me a long kiss. Maylee laughed.

Maylee: Your makes y/n right?
Y/n: Yeah why
Maylee: Well when Grayson was waking up he was kind of panicking and he kept saying "y/n...where's y/n"
Grayson: I did?

Me and Maylee laughed

Maylee: Yes you couldn't stop saying her name.
Grayson: Oh wow. *giggles*

Grayson saw Ethan.

Grayson: Wheatin my big brother!
Ethan: I'm only older by 20 min dude and PLEASE don't call me wheatin.

Ethan said as he walked to Grayson and gave him a hug.

Ethan: I'm glad your ok man.
Grayson: Me too
Maylee: Wait you guys are twins?
Ethan: Yeah why
Maylee: You guys don't look the same to me.
Ethan: And hows that
Maylee: Your better looking.
Ethan: I always knew I was the better looking twin
Grayson: Shut up dude

We all laughed
