Inspired by Hubedihubbe's Centuary centaurs from Tumblr!
My adaptation: World where centaurs are a thing and humans didn't think they qualified as people until recently, some humans still don't, so centaurs are often treated like normal horses and even abused. It's a transitional time for humanity and centaurs alike, and there's lots of civil rights movements for centaurs and stuff like that.
Plot: Brennah is a young thoroughbred centaur, who escaped from her abusive master and sought refuge at a centaur sanctuary, owned and run by Reggie and Jane Holiday. James Holiday, Reggie's son, finds Brennah and helps her recover, and they eventually forge a strong friendship. They end up competing in some kind of event, maybe dressage or EVENTING (that's what I do!)
