NEWT SCAMANDER
Teaser: I sprinted up to the man, who was surrounded by MACUSA investigators and rubble from the collapsed subway station. I shoved my way through the crowd, desperately pushing people out of the way to get to him. He smiled up at the sky as the magnificent bird flew away, borne on the wings of the storm it created. I muscled my way into the center of the crowd, squeezing between MACUSA officers without restraint. Wands were brandished, complaints were uttered, but I didn't care. I had to get to this man.
"Hey! You! With the case!" I panted, making my way to the middle of the crowd. He blinked at me in surprise.
"That thunderbird, the one you just released. Did it have a chip in the left side of its beak? And a scar on the back of his left leg?"
"Well, yes." He muttered, bewildered. "How would you know that?"
I didn't answer. Instead, I whirled to face the retreating image of the thunderbird as it flew into the clouds. My hands shook as I covered my mouth with them, and I sank to my knees when my legs became too wobbly for me to stand on.
"Oh my god." I choked. "That's Apollo. You found my thunderbird."
Protagonist: Ramona Maverick
(They end up like, riding horses across the Arizona desert or something like that so they can find Frank/ Apollo)
