Rowan's book?!!

I've gotten a lot of requests to make a book for Rowan and I can never ignore a good reason to write a story.

The first two chapters of Rowan's story has been written, but this in no way guarantees that it will become a book. I'll see if I can make some magic ^.^ so when this book ends I'll update you guys on that. I'll post a preview of it in the next chapter, so y'all tell me what you think! Dont miss it.

~Casper~

I couldn't stop thinking about Eric Larsen.

It was haunting me and I wondered what he wanted with me. He did say I was in no danger, and I strangely believed him. I mean, to an extent.

But I wasn't stupid; I had to tell somebody.

I walked out of my room and headed for the stairs so that I could find Dani, but the person I saw sitting near the top of the stairs made me stop in my tracks.

"Rowan?" My eyes assessed him, and he was in an awkward position on the steps.

"Oh! Hi, sorry, I was trying to get up the stairs and..."

He didn't need to explain any further. My arms shot out in front of me and I walked down the six steps to where he was and grabbed his arms. "Come on, you."

He held onto me like his life depended on it. Who knows, maybe it did. He was afraid of the stairs, understandably. I helped him find his footing and he stood smiling, acting like nothing had happened.

"Thank you." His hand gripped the rail tightly and I smiled back. "That would've made a great sex position, don't you think?"

I couldn't help but laugh. "Too soon."

"You're right. I'll let our little friendship build before reeling in the sex jokes. But trust me." He lowered his voice. "I make the best ones."

He noticed my uneasiness, and his grin faded as quickly as it had come as I picked at the hem of my shirt. "Did you do it? Call it off?" I quietly asked. A part of me was sad for him. I knew now that he was a nice person that ultimately meant no harm. He just wanted the love of his life back, and if I'd been in his position, I'd want that back too. The disengagement was clearly hurting him, and I didn't know how to ease that for him. Even if I tried, it wouldn't help.

"I can't talk about it," he painfully whispered, looking down at his hands.

I swallowed, nodding. "Alright. Were you heading upstairs?"

"I was gonna see Dani."

"Oh, I didn't know she was in her room. But... actually, do you think it can wait for a minute? I suddenly think you're the best person to tell."

He seemed confused and I held his hand so I could guide him back down the steps. "What's this about?" he inquired once we hit the landing. I moved a finger to my lips, signing that we had to be quiet.

I knew David was in the kitchen when I smelled the aroma tackling the air around us, so I moved Rowan to the opposite end of the large house. We darted into a guest room and I shut the door.

"You're scaring me," he said. "And nothing scares me so much anymore."

"Yeah, I'll be needing your bravery. And I'm talking 'survive a plane crash' bravery."

His eyebrows furrowed. "I wouldn't get on a plane if I were you then. It's the most frightening thing you'll ever go through."

My attention was diverted for a second as I moved away from the door, so I couldn't be easily heard. "Wait, you never told me that story. What exactly happened, if you don't mind talking about it. Seriously, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
