Ashley Frangipane and Lauren Jauregui sat side by side on a train to Halsey Street, Brooklyn. Ashley's school bag sat in between her feet and Lauren's hand was gently intertwined with hers.

"A girl like her" Lauren thought "is new for me. This is all new for me. I'm used to loving and leaving. So why am I staying?"

Ashley was also deep in thought. She wondered why Lauren Jauregui, a girl renowned for one night stands, was spending another day with her. "What makes me worth the time?"

The train jolted to a halt and both girls jumped, snapped out of their thoughts. They ran off the train before it passed Lauren's stop and silently walked to her apartment.

It wasn't until they were inside Lauren's place and the both of them had drank a cup of coffee until either of them spoke.

"What happens now?" Ashley asked quietly. "What are we?"

Lauren sighed "I don't know Ashley. I've never done this before" she admitted.

"You've never been in a relationship?"

Lauren slowly shook her head "I've had one night stands. Friends with benefits. Never a boyfriend. Or girlfriend. Never anyone."

Ashley stayed silent for a moment, thinking a little before she spoke again.

"What makes me worth your time?"

Lauren chuckled lightly "I wondered when you'd ask that. Ashley, we've been doing this for months and I've flirted with this whole city, but I've never quite met someone like you."

The blood rushed to Ashley's cheeks and Lauren smiled a little to herself.

"I never thought i'd see Lauren Jauregui say something cheesy" Ashley giggled.

"I'm serious! I like you Ashley and not cause I like kissing your neck and calling you babygirl and making you all hot and bothered. I like you because you make the soft side of me come out that I usually hide away."

"I have a bad side too you know" Ashley said.

"Oh really?"

Ashley sat onto Lauren's lap and put her face close to hers so their noses touched.

"Sometimes" she whispered "I like to think of you when I'm alone"

"Maybe you should think of me while I'm here"

"Maybe I shouldn't think of you at all and let you do what you want to me. Let you call me yours"

Lauren's eyes widened a little; she wasn't expecting that from the small girl who looked like a mermaid.

"But I thought you-"

"I want to" Ashley cut across her "I want to now. I promised myself I wouldn't let you complete me. I've been trying not to let it show. But I'm sorry Lauren"

She moved closer so her lips touched Lauren's ear.

"I'm sorry but I fell in love tonight"
