my forte.
why do you always look
at me, with such hate?
such negativity.
why?
why must you always
stare at the side of my skull

with burning frustration
while i don't bother to look
at you
at all?
you're never that way with
your friends,
your buddies,
but to me? you always
had to slip something ugly
between those lips of yours.
my barrier was always up.
to kill you with simple kindness.
i was raised to never show such
ugliness as you do.
so shady.
so angry.
such. jealousy.
