sway, sway
the river stretches far, far away
you stare over it with such strong anticipation
to jump with high temptation.
as you look over, the waves are deep and excited for your attempt,
you back up, frightened but you don't quit.
the blue waters invite you, to take a dip,
before you jump, the alcohol, you sip.
not drunken, just prepared to get over this fear lump,
you close your eyes, and breathe deep.
