I grabbed Lexi's hand and squeeze it tightly, I was so nervous.
"And your winner, of choice female webstar is..."
I swallowed hard and closed my eyes.
"Lauren Abbey!"
My heart stopped, never had something so surreal like this ever happened to me before. I stood up covering my open mouth with my hands. The whole stadium was clapping, some people cheering. I walk from my seat up to the stage where Laura Marano was standing smiling at me. The smile that was plastered on my face never left. I walked up the stage steps and walked towards Laura. She embraced me before handing me my surfboard. I look at my surfboard in disbelief.
"Wow." I said, "I honestly can't believe it." My eyes skim the crowd and I see everyone I love, people who share the same dream as me. I see Lexi standing up screaming and I laugh.
"Thank you to everyone who voted for me, and even everyone who didn't." I giggled. "This is honestly a dream come true and I never could of done this without your support and your love. Thank you." I step away from the microphone while everyone claps again.
"Thank you and congratulations Lauren!" Laura said, "This year we are also going to announce your choice male webstar whilst having Lauren, your choice female webstar, on stage."
The crowd cheers again and I turn my head looking anxious. I wasn't expecting this.
"And the nominees for choice male webstar are.."
I turned my head towards the huge screen behind me. Up came Cameron Dallas, Kian and JC, Jake Paul, Logan Paul and of course The Dolan Twins. My heart stopped for what felt like the one hundredth time today.
"And the winner , for choice male webstar is..." There was a silence while Laura opened the envelope with the winner inside.
'The Dolan Twins!"
The crowd cheered and I started clapping, a smile on my face. I was happy for them, they had come so far. I seen them rise from their seats and hug each other, up they walked side by side with the biggest smiles on their faces. The walked up the stage steps and I seen Grayson walking towards me. I hug him while we both congratulated each other. We pulled away and there was Ethan. I smiled and hugged him.
"Congratulations." I whispered into his ear. He hugged a little tighter and I smiled.
"I've missed you." He whispered and with that he walked towards Laura.
"Thank you!" They both said into the microphone. "This is unbelievable, never did we ever think we would be in a position like this." Grayson said.
"We'd like to thank all our fans, everyone that voted for us, our family, our friends and everyone else that is special to us." Ethan said. Whenever he said 'everyone else that is special to us" his head turned and he smiled me one of his cheeky smiles. I could of sworn my insides melted right there and then. I bit the inside of my mouth trying to control myself from smiling like and idiot.
"Lets hear it for your 2018 choice male and female webstars!" Laura says, and for the last time the crowd screamed, clapped and cheered. I walked off the stage where I was greeted by Lexi running into me hugging me. 'You did it!" she screamed. I laughed and hugged her back. "I did." I said, still in disbelief.
We went back to our seats and enjoyed the rest of the award show. It was one of the most amazing nights of my life. It wasn't till ten until the after party started. Lexi and I were on the dance floor minding our own business, we may have had a drink or two but who hadn't? We were celebrating. We were dancing and dancing until I heard a voice behind me.
"You look beautiful tonight."
