As I register what he said, my eyes widen and I grin, "Demon?! Oo, oo can I meet them? I wanna meet a demon!" He chuckles, "They may come and confront you. Normally only the more powerful demons can turn animals into demons, and normally they do it out of boredom so they can see the despair when they figure out they're not their species anymore. Mostly it's the humans who react that way, and that's why you're a special case. You actually like being this way." I giggle, "Damn right I do! Maybe I could sneak up on that demon and scare them.." "That might get you on their good side, if you show how you can sneak up on them without them noticing, they'll probably be impressed. Then you can ask them to teach you, I'm not very knowledgeable on them, but by the way you're growing and your smell, you may be a fire speed demon." I grin, "Nicee, two of my favorite things." He nods, "The pack has been fed for today, once you grow your tail you will join the hunters in hunting for the pack. Until then, you'll get a small portion of the hunt, as you're capable of hunting if you need more." I nod, "Alrighty, I think it's about to grow, actually. I'm feeling pain in my a**." He chuckles and goes to sit on top of the mound cave thing. I then climb up the tree I was leaning on with my claws and feet, then sleep on a sturdy branch.

I wake up when I feel a growing uncomfortable feeling around my tail bone, so I sigh and make a slit in my pants and underwear with my claw. I see my little stub of a tail there, and once I could see it, it rapidly grows so I yelp and fall off the tree I was in, attracting the attention of the wolves. I look behind me and see a five feet long black scaled tail with a black blade that slowly fades into red at the end, and it goes across the top of the tail kind of like a scythe. I then look to my arms and see my sleeves are ripped and the same type of blade was on my elbows with black scales surrounding them. I sigh and rip my sleeves off, leaving the sleeves halfway down my biceps. Still sitting, I giggle and hold my claws up to the tree and swat at it, "Rawr~" I then feel something touching my tail, so I turn around and see one of the pups gnawing on my tail. I giggle and move my tail to the side, making them lose their grip. They growl and pounce on my tail, but I move it again, making them miss. I snicker as a wolf rushes over and gently picks them up by the scruff, then walk away. I shrug and test out my tail, discovering it can't move side to side very well. It was much like a raptor tail, except with a big blade.

I tested my body for a bit, running side to side in the clearing and making sure to stay on the edge of the clearing. Then one of the males walk up to me, so I stop and turn to them. "Alpha says you have to come hunting with us." I shrug, "Okie dokie!" I follow him as he meets up with another male wolf and we go towards the forest. They sniff the ground and start following a scent trail, and I crouch lower, my legs being stronger and I don't have to get on all fours. Eventually they get on their bellies when we come across a herd, so I do too. We stalk the prey until a doe gets close enough, then they run out of the bush, so I follow faster and jump on the doe before she could move and dig my claws into her as the other two run up and one bites her neck and the other keeps an eye on her for any escape attempts. As the doe dies, I realize I can understand her and the rest that are running away as well, "Hey, I could probably go catch another." The doe dies and one of them looks at me incredulously, "As far as they are? You'd never catch up, not to mention you can't pick up scent trails!" The other sighs, "Dude, she's a demon, do you know how strong those things are? She killed a buck on her own!" He then turns to me, "If you could catch another, that'd help. We haven't been getting enough food for our large pack." I shrug, "Mkay then." I look around the clearing, then spot a trail of hoof prints and stepped on shrubs. I grin and sprint off in that direction, dodging trees like a pro.

I eventually catch up to the doe who had stopped running and pounce on them. She struggles and throws a few curse words at me, so I clamp my mouth on her neck and she slowly dies. When she dies, I pick her up and hear howls as I approach the area where they had killed. This time, I understand that the howls meant they were saying that they caught some food. I start to jog with the body around my shoulders. I reach them and set the deer down, seeing that the alpha was there now, and they were eating. I tilt my head, "Aren't you going to drag the food to the pups or something? " The alpha looks at me, "No, If we bring food to our den, other predators will follow the scent. Instead, we regurgitate food for the pups and the ones protecting the pups while we're out." "Ah, makes sense. So, you guys can carry two whole deer?" He shakes his head, "No, once we get back, the two currently protecting the pups will track our scent back here and bring back more food, as well as feed themselves." I nod, "Mkay then. It's alright if I eat this, right?" He nods and goes back to eating, so I shrug and eat as much as I need, which isn't too much since I don't normally eat much.
