Hermione awoke from sleeping because of the relentless tapping on the window. She was unsure of what it was, she was guessing an owl, but it had been there a while. At least twenty minutes. She was confused as to why it was there, no one was allowed to do anything anymore. She wasn't allowed to receive mail since she was under house arrest.

She stood up from her position on the bed to open the drapes. She wasn't surprised when a small owl looked up at her. She opened the window to receive her mail. She opened the packaging to find a lengthy letter inside.

Marriage Law Update

All marriage law participants must be updated on the matter of the wedding dates. The ministry has decided to bump up the marriage law dates. The ministry has decided to bump up the marriage dates to the first day of December. Already over thirty couples have gotten married. Today is the twentieth, and the ministry advises couples to get married as soon as possible, for the first of December will be the latest you can be married. For the good of the couples, it is advised to wed within the next few days.

For the couples getting married, there will be no big ceremony, only a ring exchange. This is so the ceremonies will be quick and easy for the married couples. After the wedding couples will go back to their homes and proceed with progress. All contraception spells will not work after the 1st of December.

"So, when do you want the wedding to be?" Asked Draco scaring Hermione. He was completely silent when walking.

"I don't know, not the first... but on the wedding night I would have to..." She swallowed on her dry throat and he sensed her anxiety.

"Don't think about it." He tried to find something else to say, but failed. Instead he took the paper from her and read it through.

"How can i not? This marriage law is horrible. I can hardly do anything since I'm under house arrest, and-" She paused and a look of dread crossed her face.

"What? You look as pale as me." He looked at her ghostly complexion.

"When was the last time you transformed?" To her statement he reasonably paled to. If they were to have a wedding in the next week, he would be very lupine for it.

"A while ago, the next full moon is five days from now. And in the two days before the full moon, I am pretty bad."

"Bad as in?"

"Lupine." He replied.

"Oh no..." She trailed off again. "Have you been taking the potion?"

"Yes, every night. But I think you may find that our wedding may be very, chaotic."

This was the day of her wedding. Nothing big though, the ministry would only be coming to her house and giving her a small ring. This ring would be nothing more than a gold band to show she was married. The rings would have a tracker to show the ministry where everyone was. If the ministry was able to track everyone, they could also track progress. Merlin, she despises the word.

"Ready?" Draco asked taking in a deep breath. His fangs were constantly becoming more noticeable, and it worried her. Today was the day of the full moon, and she was very nervous for tonight. He had warned her that a single glimpse of the full moon could trigger the wolf inside of him. She was scared for the minister who would be the one to wed them.

A soft and steady knocking could be heard from the door. She rushed down the stairs and opened the large door.

"Come in." She said solemnly. The minister walked in and looked at Draco to Hermione.

What she expected was some small vows but all the minister did was give them each a band of gold, and he instructed them to put them on. He left the house as soon as the couple had the bands on.

This was the moment she had been dreading, the night of her wedding. Draco had gone upstairs nearly an hour ago, and she had just sat here. But now the moon had come out, and she was scared. Draco had made sure the entire manor was in darkness, and she knew why.

The full moon was here.
