Hermione was nowhere to be found, his last resort was the manor. He hadn't gone earlier solely because he couldn't see the point of why she would go there now. Yes, it was all fixed up, but she had most certainly agreed and promised him she would on time for lunch. As long as he was going to the manor he might as well drop off the things he bought. The unfortunate truth of it all was that he didn't know where Hermione was, and didn't have much chance of finding her. It felt odd. His younger image would have relished the fact that she was gone, and now he felt as if it was his own fault. There was definitely a battle going on in his mind. He would never forgive himself if she was gone and lost forever, but he couldn't be thinking like that. He would go to the manor, and if she wasn't there, he wasn't 100% sure what he would do. But he might as well check.
He grabbed his bags, and disapparated from the small muggle shop, or at least he considered it. But just to make sure his wife had actually been in this area, he walked up to the young blond muggle who was standing behind the cash register.
He asked her if she had possibly seen a young women with bushy brown hair, and possibly carrying a large bag. To his pure annoyance, the young woman said she had seen her, and that she had left with a large bag full of flowers. He was partially relieved, but his annoyance was caused by the fact that the woman requested that he pay her for what direction Hermione had headed. Even if he complied, he didn't have any muggle currency.
He headed out of the shop, and quickly thought about Hermione's logic versus his. She would probably try to find a place where she could apparate to Diagon Alley without muggles noticing. He looked in the alleys along the way, and his lupine scent kicked in. He could faintly smell her perfume, but there were also many other side scents mixed in. But what he did know now, what what alley she went down.
He took long strides and looked around in the alley, not surprised he could smell her. The problem was the scent that was nearly overriding hers, and he swore he could recognize it. He was racking his memory at this point for a lead of who or what it could be, and then he remembered the Triwizard Tournament. The second task where everyone had to swim to the bottom of the lake.

This was wrong, he shouldn't be thinking of her like this, she was nothing but a mudblood, wasn't she? He was hopeless, he could have asked her to the Yule Ball, but instead he had waited too long. He ended up going with Pansy, and he definitely regretted it. Instead who asked her was the one and only Viktor Krum. Now she was gone, and possibly at the bottom of the Black Lake, being used as a pawn for the Triwizard Tournament. How could he have let this happen?
"Viktor Krum has surfaced," Draco heard the faint call of Dumbledore's voice steaming through the castle grounds.
The blond boy peered over the many heads to look at the lake. He glanced over just in time to see the stocky young man rise out of the water a slender brunette figure in tow.
Draco felt the anger boil within him... he just wanted to be with her. He deserved to be the one pulling her out of the lake. He deserved to be the one she saw when she awoke from her con
His stomach clenched when he saw Krum kiss her, but he didn't catch the look of fear laced into her eyes. Maybe he was simply too far away.

I know, this is really short, but I couldn't think of what more to add.
