She couldn't help it, she needed to get away from Draco. He was in the room most of the time practicing spells, and spending time with her. She had left the room with the box in her hand about two hours ago, and she had been trying to pry it open. But she never noticed the imprint on the bottom of the box...

She thought maybe the answer was right in front of her, but where. She turned the box around in her palms, trying to feel for a secret button or lever. While she was messing with the box, she turned it upside down, to find a shape on the bottom of the box. When she placed her hand on the imprint, it shrank to fit the size of her hand. Momentarily, she thought about pulling away her hand, but her curiosity got the better of her, and she let her hand sit there for a while. After a few minutes she pulled her hand away to find that where her hand had fitted, now there was a small opening where she could just grab what lay inside the box. She fished around in the box, trying to find something. She finally got a firm grasp on a handle of some sort, and when she pulled it out of the box, she stared at it.
What she had fished out was an intricate dagger, the handle the perfect size for her hand. It was made of silver, and she saw many runes engraved into the blade. The grip was made of a soft leather, and it was comfortable to hold. It was lightweight, and she wondered how sharp it was. She tapped the tip with her finger, and was shocked she felt it prick her skin. It was far better a weapon than she had originally thought, but now she was considering keeping the knife. It may come in handy one day. She carefully put the blade back in its box, and she took it back into the manor cautiously.
Once she had gotten to the secret stairs, she walked up a few and nearly slipped on one. And when she almost fell, an idea came to her mind. She pried back the stone slab of stair, and slipped the box under it. Carefully setting the slab back into place, she proceeded to go back upstairs, where she hoped she would find Draco.
After the long hike up the steep steps, she went into the room where she hoped Draco would be. She walked into the room to find Draco reading a book, sprawled out on the bed. He appeared to be engrossed in a scroll.
"What are you looking at?" She asked him, approaching the bed where he was laying.
"The rules for house arrest, I'm trying to find a loophole." He told her, not glancing up from the paper in his hands. "But there aren't any." he huffed.
"Well, even though we are under house arrest it doesn't mean we can't have some fun." She said, gently taking the scroll from his hands.
"What do you mean by, fun?" he questioned. "Because I think you and I have very different definitions of the word."
"Not what I meant," She said, a red blush creeping into her cheeks. "But why do you ask? I thought you just absolutely loathe me."
"Well, people's opinions change." He replied fondly at her.
"Do they now?" She giggled.
"Oh I think they do, otherwise you wouldn't have let me snog you."
"Wasn't like I had a choice." She said, knowing her words were lies. If she had told Draco that she wasn't okay with it, he would have stopped. But by the look on his face, he knew what she was thinking about.
"Oh, but Granger you did." He chattered on with a large smirk adorning his features, to his simple reply, she let out a large huff to show her annoyance. But he was right.
