Three long tones beeped loudly before a male automated voice from the Emergency Alert System filled every television screen, in various languages, in the city.

The Center for Disease Control has issued the following message:

This is an attack warning. Repeat. This is an attack warning. Meaning, an attack on this country has been detected.

A state of emergency has been declared for the country of Japan. An epidemic has quickly spread throughout Tokyo and is moving towards other areas of the country. This epidemic is considered as a deadly outbreak of the Metus Virus and has left more than hundreds dead and thousands more infected. The virus is expected to hit the rest of the globe over the next seventy-two hours.

By all medical standpoints, the infected are considered dead. Do not approach the infected, and those who are uninfected are urged to stay inside or seek shelter as soon as possible. Avoid contact with any infected as they are considered extremely dangerous and deranged. If you have been scratched or bitten by the infected, you are requested by the CDC to go immediately to the nearest hospital or clinic for treatment.

Do not panic.

Stay inside, and stay safe.

Help is on the way.
