(Y/N) POV

So we planned to meet up but he said he had been sick for a couple of weeks... I was worried and offered to take him something to feel better but he just said Phil was taking care of everything. Phil, his flat mate, was super sweet. He was just adorable. I can see why they are good friends. I'm happy Dan has someone like him. I was still worried though. We texted a lot. Mostly about video games and stuff. I wish it was more though. I am fully aware it's selfish. I just need someone. My friend decided he would drop off the face of the earth again. My job was going pretty good though. My game that I developing is going great. It's very popular with the game testers. It's going to go public soon. The nerves. I am internally screaming and jumping up and down in victory. Finally I'm getting my life on track again.

Dan's POV

I felt awful for blowing off (y/n). I was having a hard time for a while there. I couldn't even post a live stream. It sucked. Everyone on Twitter assumed I died or that I decided to hide from the internet. I just felt like sh*t, I'm sorry I can take a week to feel better?
Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to him. Damm it! Why am I so hopeless? Oh well I'll just have to make food for him.... yeah no. I'll buy him food. And then I'll get him flowers... does he even like flowers? Oh well it will have to do. Then I can bring some games and anime and we can just be together doing what we love. I can't wait to see him!

(Y/N) POV

Okay. So dan decided to come to my work and surprise me with flowers. "Hey Dan, what's up?" Well that was lame. "Hey, I got you these (f/f)" he said with that beautiful lopsided grin he has that make my stomach decide it needed wings. "Oh my gosh thank you so much! They're beautiful" I smiled at him and took the flowers. " I was wondering if you were free tonight?" Dan asked. "Yeah, completely. I get off in like five minutes. Do you think you could wait?" " yeah I'll go wait out front and call us a cab".
Holy crap!!! He is so sweet. I think he's trying to make up for the missed date.

Minuets later

We were on our way to his flat. In the cab we talked about life and what been going on. Apparently he had been super sick and he really wanted to make it up to me. " that's so sweet but you didn't have to. It's not like it was your fault." I tried to assure him. " I know but I felt really bad and I wanted to spend some time with you." He blushed a bit. It was so cute. "Thank you Dan. It was really sweet of you"

We arrived and we took the stairs up to his flat. It was amazing. He had a piano and it was very modern. He directed me towards a kitchen/ dining area. It was all romantic with candles and everything. He pulled out a chair. I sat down and he took a seat next to me and uncovered my food. It looked quite amazing. "You can cook?" I asked. He laughed... Hard. "What?" I was kind of startled. " oh it's nothing it's just that I've never been good at cooking. I ordered something from a nearby restaurant" He was still trying to contain his laughter. I burst into laughter. "Oh" was all I could choke out after.

We ate the delicious meal then Dan directed me towards the lounge. It had a fairly large television and an amazing gaming system (I'll let you choose what kind). We played for a few hours. Then we turned it to (favorite anime/tv show if you don't really like anime). I leaned into him. He wrapped his arm around me. I fell asleep. I fell freaking asleep!!!
