(for you geysers awesomeness:) Thorn's POV

The tall trees of Stormclan swayed in the wind as the sun climbed the sky. Thorn pressed her white-striped ears against her head. Her orange eyes flicked around. She hoped no Stormclan cats could smelll her. If they did... Well, that's a different story. Thorn shut her eyes tight and shivered. She shook her head to clear the thoughts. What was she thinking? She could beat off ten Stormclan cats! Thorn felt confidence fill her and padded forward. Tarous was waiting for her.

Thorn soon reached a tall fence. It was made of orange stuff. Snorting, Thorn slipped through a hole and continued her journey through Twoleg place. The nests were pushed tightly together, but Thorn navagated the passage ways easily. She came to a tall alley. Smirking, she jumped and twisted her body, launching herself off the wall. She landed on the other wall of the alley. Launching again, Thorn landed on a string with Twoleg pelts strung upon it. All of it was so fast, you could only see a blur of black and white. Her tail flicked and she jumped just as quickly over to the next wall. She flipped gracefully and landed on the roof with amazing grace and speed. Running atop the roves (imagine it like bat man as a she-cat with white stripes), Thorn soon reached an abandoned nest. Its size was magnificent. To a Twoleg, it looked old and dirty. To cats though, it looked like the palace of a starclan god. Shaking away her amazement, Thorn planted a mysterious look on her face.

Thorn entered the building through a broken window. Twoleg kits and their toys. Thorn thought, but kept a tall and regal position. There was a black carpet leading into the shadows directly from the middle of the room. Thorn placed a paw onto this carpet and flickering eyes appeared in the shadows. Some where calm while others glistened with wicked glee. Trying not to quiver, Thorn continued down the carpet. More eyes appeared along the way, and misty figures danced in the shadows. Their wicked teeth glimmered in the little light that shone through the crack ceiling. Hundreds of cats surrounded her soon, and she had a wave of shadowy cats following her when she reached the end of the carpet. Or, at least where the shadows engulfed it. Suddenly, yellow orbs flicked to life. The black dots focused on her and grew into slits. Mist now flowed around Thorn's paws, and she struggled to keep her regal poise.

"Sir..."

Thorn slid into a bowing position. A long, jet black tail slid from the darkness. It's end flicked, ever so slightly. If Thorn had blinked, she would have missed it. "And what brings my second hand to my presence?" The massive black shape whispered. His voice was like smoke. Thick and thin, powerful and playful, dark and bouncy, all at the same time. It seemed to flow through the air like water. It freaked her out. Sitting up, Thorn straitened her back. "It seems I have found the... one." The shape shifted, then lashed his tail right back. "Slash." He called. A ash grey cat appeared from the shadows. "Sir?" He asked. The shape lowered itself to Slash. Thorn strained to hear.

"Kill her close ones, but not it. I will deal with it. Do you understand?"

"Completely, sir."

"Good. You go at midnight."

Slash nodded and disappeared into the shadows. "Tarous..." Thorn stuttered. The dark creature smiled horribly. "You're wondering why you arn't going on that mission." Thorn nodded, embarrassed.

"Don't worry, my child... You have a much more... Honoring, mission to do." Tarous cooed. Thorn nodded, and left. She let a breath escape her mouth, one she hadn't realized she was holding.
