Yay. New chapter! About time I got up to do this...
Chapter 2-
It had been a moon since the dream and Chromekit had pushed it away. Of course, Chromekit was 8 moons old, meaning her ceremony was about to commence. Suddenly, Scorchedstar jumped up on his den and called the clan. Chromekit ran over and sat in front. "Today is a special day in Silencedclan, for today a kit has become 8 moons old." He started.
"Chromekit, step forward." Chromekit obeyed excitedly. "Chromekit, from this day forward until you get your warrior name, you will be known as Chromepaw! Your mentor will be Fadingsun. Fadingsun, you learned well from Qualefeather, and you are a strong and graceful warrior, I wish you to pass these skills onto Chromepaw." Fadingsun and Chromepaw touched noses and the clan yowled her name.
"Chromepaw! Chromepaw! Chromepaw!"
After the ceremony, the cats walked back to what they were doing.
"Tomorrow, I'll show you the borders and landmarks, but for now, let's sleep!" Fadingsun yawned. Chromepaw nodded happily and bounced to the apprentice den. She picked a spot near the back and curled up.
