Y/N POV
It was now time for the bonfire that they had for every new greenie's arrival. As I walked over to the area it was at I saw Newt and Minho talking about something. Slowly I approached them not wanting to disturb the little bromance session. "Hey , Y/N!"Newt yelled when he saw me walking towards them. "Hi Newt, Hi Minho" I say back. "So what do you do during these things?" I ask the boys. "Well, we usually play around and drink." Minho says. Out of nowhere the glader named Gally yells my name and calls me over to where he was standing. He was standing in a huge circle drawn in the sand. " You are tough, why don't you fight me?" He says smirking cause he knows that if I say no I'll look weak. "Sure, why not you look easy to beat!" I snap back. As I step into the ring I notice Newt looking at me with a worried expression on his face. Gally was the first to strike...or try to. Swiftly I sidestep and punch him in the gut as he turns to face me again. "You still think you can beat me?" I ask Gally smirking knowing I had already won this fight. I take a few steps towards him and do a quick roundhouse kick to the stomach. "I'm done, you win greenie." Gally whines from just being kicked. "Next time don't judge me just because I'm a girl." I tell him. "Good that."He replies grinning "I'm just glad to finally have a challenge for once." For the rest of the night I sat around the fire staring at it.
Newt's POV
I look over and see Y/N just staring at the fire. I don't know why but I had become mesmerized by the way the light is hitting her skin. While I'm staring at Y/N I don't notice Minho walk over. I didn't even know he's there until he says "You know staring won't make her like you. Just go over there and have a conversation." I look at him dumbfounded. I already know there's no way she could love me I mean who loves a boy with a limp. Out of nowhere Minho calls a few boys and Y/N to come over. Startled by suddenly hearing her name she looks up and slowly walks over. "Yeah?"she asks. "Do you want to play a game?"Minho asks her. "Sure why not...what game?"she replies confidently. "Truth or Dare."He says back smirking. "Let's do it!"she announced back. After a few rounds of Truth or Dare it was time to go to sleep. Y/N asked if I would walk with her to her hammock. Of course I said yes not wanting to be away from her for a second. "Goodnight Newt." She softly said trying not to wake anyone. "Goodnight Love."I responded; slowly walking away.

I'm sorry for not posting in a while but I had midterms and a ton of test so I was caught up in school work. I was also reading some other Newt imagines and got really obsessed so sorry for that. The person who wrote the Newt Imagines I have been reading is aewhite624 so if you haven't read her books please done they are amazing.
