"Finis coronat opus"

When I was dressed in that giant dress I went nowhere. No one came in my room. I was all alone sitting in the chair my spine straight like arrow because of the corset. When girls gone everything I hoped I will achieve with them just fell into water. They didn't want to stay or even talk with me.

One moment when everything just went over my head I took off the damn thing leaving it on the ground. I couldn't agree on that many layers of silk and other things. But the corset; oh that thing. The way it hugged my chest making it hard for me to breathe was just a no. I didn't know how all of them succeed in that.

Being free from that cage I walked in my room trying to do something. The whole day I spent in that room doing nothing. With each passing hour I wanted to get out, just to see what is outside; maybe even find a library; but I dared not. My mind didn't want to break Prince's rule, and I didn't want guards in this room.

Finally, when day just fell off the cliff and night sky filled with stars, my body went to sleep. But being placed in the fluffy bed my eyes just rested on the pictures on the walls; imagining how it would be to sleep in my own, on left uncomfortable bed because one board was missing; being in my room surrounded with smells from street all making a smell of the washed cloth unbearable.

In my head I dreamt about old bunny called Daphe who sent me to sleep when I was little.

In the dawn, the thundering crash woke me up.

Feeling a cold air on my skin and a slight shivers walking on back of my neck my eyes opened trying to find a source of noise. When I met the clear blue sky through the terrace doors a crash repeated, this time followed with a laughter.

Taking a robe and walking out of the bed my hands hugged around me trying to protect me from whatever is happening. My feet touched a rare cold marble, and I peeked down.

Two guys were training under my balcony. Knowing a tight formation of his shoulders and a dark little highlighted hair I instantly knew it is a Prince. The second one was a mystery for me.

My hands clenched around thick metal fence pushing my body to see more; to identify a man.

The Prince had moves like a cat. He turned in a second, from one place to another. In one second he looked like his blade could hit him, but in the other, he was placing his on man's rib cage. He won, clearly.

A mysterious man fought hard too. He almost knew all Prince's secrets, he knew when he will attack, every attack defended every contra attack placed on the places Princes didn't see. A man was Prince's shadow, and Prince won his shadow.

Putting down their weapons Prince and a man shook hands and laughed. It was a very first time for me to hear him laugh. For true, not some practiced empty laugh for the nobles. He giggled his deep voice echoing through the practicing area and a few birds near them disappeared in the air. Prince didn't react. He was speaking to his companion.
