Chapter Three

Savannah Summers

My mouth falls open in a gap causing his lips to form a smirk. I should've known he would come to my house. He saw me running to it yesterday. Of course he wouldn't let me get away like this. Why didn't I think about this earlier to prepare for what I'm going to do now.

My mom is still watching me since I stopped on the staircase, my eyes still on the guy. But I can feel her gaze on me, on my blank expression. I don't know what to do, I have absolutely no idea. But I don't want my mom to be worried either. So after a few seconds which felt like an eternity, my feet start moving again, towards my mom and the stranger standing in my door frame.

"Hi," Is all I get out of my mouth.

"Are you busy?" The guy asks, his eyes meeting my mom for a second before they lock with mine again.

"Yes, I actually have to-"

"She's not busy, just lazy." My mom simply interrupts me with a smile on her face.

"Mom!" I gasp. What is she doing?

"Oh really?" The guy says, his eyes still on mine. "Let's change that."

"Who's on the door?" My dad asks out of the kitchen.

"Just Savannah's friend…"

"Justin." The guy says, a chuckle escaping his lips.

"Okay, soooo… Have fun you two." My mom says and nods at Justin with a smile on her face.

"I'm going to put on some other clothes." I mumble, my eyes trailing down Justin's body.

He's wearing a white shirt and a black leather jacket. Which I actually would call hot if I wouldn't know what he did yesterday. Right as my eyes reach his skinny jeans and black boots another chuckle from Justin makes me shiver, and I know he caught me checking his outfit.

Heat rushes into my cheeks and I know I'm blushing as I look back into his eyes.

"Hurry," He smirks. "I'll wait at my car.

I simply nod, not able to give him another answer. Without looking at my mom another time, I turn on my heels and run upstairs, back into my room. I walk right towards my wardrobe and take out some skinny jeans which are ripped on some points and a simple, white jersey. After a few minutes I walk out of my room and downstairs again. My mom is back in the kitchen, talking to my dad and Justin is obviously waiting outside like he said it.

"I'm out." I say, just to get some have fun and don't come home late back from my parents.

I bite down onto my bottom lip as I open the door. Justin is leaning against his car and his eyes look up as soon as the door falls close behind me.

I try to stay calm as I walk towards him and he slowly pushes himself away from the car. He doesn't even say a word as he opens the passengers door of it, his eyes still on me.

I look at his car and a million thoughts rush into my head. He could just take me somewhere and kidnap me. He could drive wherever he wants and I couldn't even leave. Like I did yesterday. Justin would be the one who decides what's going to happen then without me having a chance to change his mind. So I quickly shake my head.

"No," I say.

"No?" His eyebrows knit in confusion.

"Let's walk," I mumble as I walk past him.
