Chapter 11 (Cognate test- Part two)

"What colour is Fitz's Hair?"

"Umm, uh, dark brown like dark dark brown?"

"Correct, Fitz what is Sophie's Favorite colour?"

"Ummm er, uh who's So- oh right ummm. Teal right?"

"Correct"

The potion started getting stronger.

"Sophie, what is Fitz eyes, Fitz what are Sophie's eyes colour?"

"Brown with beautiful golden swirls- wait what did I say?"

" Shining bright teal.......huh? Where? Who? What?"

" you have each passed this test, Elwin, take it off."

"Of course."

Elwin quickly took off the elixir by giving them a cool drink sweet as honey but not overwhelming. He help both of them to the small box only big enough to fit two people without touching each other. In the box there were holes at the bottom, both Sophie and Fitz suspected that it was water. The two hopped in and waited for the count down in the speakers.

"All right, we won't film to know your deepest secret, but Sir Teirgan knows both of yours and only he can open the door when your done"

" ready?"

"Go!!"

Both Sophie and Fitz were wondering how in the hay did Teirgan know there deepest darkest secret. But they moved on thinking only Teirgan was Teirgan sooo.

" Alright, lets say it at the same time" Fitz said as water continued flooding the room, it was already at Sophie's knee!

" ok"

"I like you" they both blurted out

" wait what? The great Sophie Foster likes me? What?" The water stopped and the door flung opened

" yeah." Sophie whispered quietly

"I Head Councilor Emery announce you two Official Cognates! Also you guys beat the record with 37 seccomds."

"What! We took forever!" The two new cognates shouted

" no apparently time goes slow when your in the mind, you guys took 7 seconds I'm there, 13 seconds trying to describe each other and 17 seconds in the box" Councilor Terrick exclaimed " and the youngest, before you two, the youngest was 48 and 40 years!"

" and we will send out all the records you broke but not what you did,promise to not tell Another soul about your tests." Councilor Alina sharply said

"....... ok"

"...... but they can know about the 'deepest darkest secret' test, everyone knows that already" Councilor Oralie added as she winked

" we will let you two discuss things, things might change from now on" Teirgan winked while wiggling one eyebrow.

Everyone except Sophie and Fitz left the room and locked the door.

" soo.... Sophie umm I was umm wanting to ask you ummm will you be my, um, girlfriend please?"

" really! I'd love to but I wanna take things slow, don't tell anyone, let them find out, and just hold hands for now until I'm ready to do anything else.......Are you okay with that?"

" I'd love to" fitz said as he smiled.

Ok ok ok, I just don't like how most people make them kiss after they confess. Also they have like what let's see how many years? Hmmm let me count . Counts with fingers* the rest of eternity! Take it slow man! I mean like seriously! Your elves! Btw all lovey things will be slowed down and chilled down until I think it's time to heat things up!! - ^-^

I'm soo sorry but I've decided to end this. It was getting too cringey and I couldn't change anything because then it would make it worse. I hope you understand and I just feel like this isn't going to be interesting. I'm going to make a. Epilogue but then it's over for this book. I might make an another one when there is no such thing as elves or like something different. But yeah sorry. - ^-^
