BANKS'S POV
I smiled as Alissa walked out of Chantel's house with a massive smile on her face. She came and sat down on the passenger's seat and gave me a quick kiss.
"Ricky, I have so much to tell you, oh my God."
Alissa smiled as I placed my hand on her thigh, "tell me everything, babygirl."
I start up the car as Alissa begins to tell me about an Instagram model she reached out to, "And I asked her what she thought about the recent vlog and she had no idea vlogged!?"
"Wait didn't you just say she was a big fan??", I asked confused.
"Yeah, that's what I thought too. Anyway she's the only option I have.", she replied with a heavy sigh.
"Are you gonna call her today?"
"Yeah after I go to the mall with Chantel, though"
"So are you just gonna come back to the house for what half an hour...? And then leave me again?", I asked with raised eyebrows
"Ricky! I'll be spending tonight with you anyway jeez"
"Ugh it's been forever since we've actually done anything"
"You know I have a lot on my mind right now", she replies slowly lowering her head
"Alissa, don't feel bad. I know there's a lot going on, it's ok.", I say reaching down to bring her head up to face me
"You're right, I don't even know what I'm feeling guilty about.", she replies with a faint smile
I knew she felt guilty about leaving Chantel alone. She constantly felt consumed with Chantel's needs and had barely done anything for herself in weeks. I knew she was trying her hardest to balance everything and was only just coping. I wanted to help her badly, but Alissa insisted she had everything under control and refused to let me help.
We arrived at the house just in time, Alissa quickly ran in and I slowly followed behind her.
She was already in the shower by the time I got up to our room. I shook my head with a slight laugh and decided to check my messages.
