ALISSA'S POV
I scroll through my contacts, there are so many guys I could call up, rappers, celebrities, models...I needed to stop, I'm not serious about this. Every couple fights, there's no reason for me to do anything extra. Ricky is loyal to me and I need to be loyal to him. Everything has practically fallen apart since the new girl's new girl showed up. I have an odd feeling about her, things just get...weird when she's around. I open instagram, I won't go all the way, but I can follow people, Ricky is bound to see that. 4-10 is sure to piss him off. I was about to follow Ricky's old best friend but before I could, Kiara's name popped up on my screen.
She never called me, it must be important. Besides, what is there to do really? I pick up her call to the surprise of a deeper voice than I'm used to. "Hello?", I said confused.
"It's Rice.", That answered a lot of of questions I had.
"Why're you calling me on Kiara's phone, I'm so confused."
"Listen, it's a lot to take in. But, I'm at the hospital and they need two people to be here with her I don't know why, but they do"
Rice was right, this was a lot to take in, I had even more questions before and the knowledge that someone I consider a friend, is currently in hospital.
Whatever was so urgent that two people were needed, clearly needed to be done quickly. I was way too far away from the hospital to get there in 20 minutes.
"I won't be able to get there in time. Lilly is at Sommer's house, she'll be able to get there faster"
"Uh...", Rice's voice fades.
"Plus, she's her best friend, makes more sense"
"We don't know where she is", He responds. Oh my God.
"All right, I'm on my way"
"Wait, Alissa aren't you at Sommer's house"
"Chantel wanted me to go to hers, so that's where I'm at"
"Alright, just please hurry"
