SOMMER'S POV
Everyone goes silent, I knew they didn't think it was a joke. Everyone was just looking at me, mouths wide open except Banks who starts laughing out loud and gives Rice a nudge with his elbow, "I told y'all they been fucking'!", He says loudly.
"We haven't ever...", Rice and I both say at the same time.
"Oh.", Banks says quieting down. That's right 'oh', it's a shame Rice and I never got to that stage, I wish we did though.
"A-a-are you gonna....you know...keep it?", Alissa asks nervously.
"I don't know, I don't think I'm in the place to have a child now. My career's going well and I can't have a child interfere. I'd want a child but now isn't the right time.", I say s everyone remains silent.
"I don't get to choose though.", I say.
"Why not?", Carrington asks after walking over and giving me a hug.
"Because there's a law here."
"What law?", Sylvia asks.
"The father gets to have a say in whether you can abort the child or not. You have to have permission from both parents to be able to abort it, one isn't enough."
"Oh, but it's your body.", Sylvia replies.
"I know, sucks doesn't it?".
"So, who's the father?", Lilly asks excitedly. I don't think she got the tone of this whole announcement or 'meeting' for that matter.
"She probably doesn't even know who the father is.", Someone says, I couldn't match the voice to anyone as tears began to fill my eyes, this was too much, I was starting to feel really overwhelmed.
"I know who the father is", I say trying to hold back the tears.
"I told myself I wouldn't have sex with anyone for six months, I get attached and I can't have a relationship right now", I start before I hear Lilly whispering to Kiara.
"Money driven?", Lilly whispers.
"Ambitious, goal driven and career oriented", Kiara corrects her. I smile, maybe I did like this girl a little.
"So, I didn't have sex with anyone and one night Carrington and I were just hanging out and you know I was really...craving...", I couldn't think of a better word craving would have to do, "it and so you know Carrington and I we went out to a club and we met these two guys.", I stop to look over at everyone and see how they were following along.
"Manu and Jack", I hear a quiet gulp from Kiara as soon as I say Jack, "And you know I went home with one of them and it all just happened so quickly I forgot to tell him to wrap it...and now I'm pregnant."
"Weren't you on the pill?", Lilly asks dumbly.
"I wasn't having sex for six months, I didn't think I needed it"
Lilly nods her head in understanding.
"But the father, by the sound of it, was a one night stand. Do you have his contacts, his instagram at least?", Alissa asks.
"Oh yeah he has over a million followers I can find his number and stuff easily, I did already. While all you guys are out, I invited him over so we could talk and you know decide if we're gonna keep it....", I look up and everyone is still in shock, I don't blame them.
"Damn, so he's famous?", Rice asks, surprised.
"I didn't know who he was, neither did anyone at the club."
