Leah's POV

Jennifer's soft, pink lips separate from mine for a brief second, I think she was trying to feel me out.

I quickly reach my hand up to her face and kiss her again. She kisses me several times, obviously the more dominant one of the two of us. I feel her teeth pull gently at my lower lip. That's new to me. The people I've kissed (which is not that many) have never been very creative... especially Jalen. It's just a whole lot of tongue and hardly any room to breathe. Kissing someone who actually knows what they are doing feels amazing.

I smile a little and Jennifer giggles quietly, "Sorry... I had to." She says and sits back in her seat. "Please, don't apologize." I say and she just looks at me. Her eyes are captivating... it's like her eyes are talking to me when she looks at me like that.

We make our way into this cute little breakfast restaurant, small and family owned. We take a table near the window and order our breakfast. We chat while we eat, joking around a lot. Eventually the subject of school is brought up by Jennifer.

"What do you think of my dad as a teacher?" she asks. "He's a phenomenal teacher, but his grading system is not my favorite. It makes things hard." I shrug. "What year of college are you in? I don't remember what class that is." She tells me. Damn. Just a little deeper into this lie... "Second year. I started late. I took time off after high school and did some traveling." "That's cool. Where'd you travel?" Jennifer pushes. God, I can never back out of this.

"East coast. Florida, Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, and so on. I basically went up the whole east coast over a year and a half period. It was interesting." I say. In reality, I traveled up the east coast with my parents over a two week period for spring break during my sophomore year of high school. I just stretched he truth a bit, that's all.

"I wanna know more about you! All I know now is that your dad is a professor, you have a sister who has a fancy law degree, and that is pretty much it..." I say. She lets out a sigh, "You don't know who my mother is?" She asks. I shake my head no and furrow my brows... "Am I supposed to?" I ask. Jennifer cuts her eyes at me, but doesn't speak.

"What?!" I ask, confused. "I can't tell if you're lying." "Why would I lie?" "Most people see my last name and my face and they put the two together. It's just rare to meet someone who isn't only interested in my family. Most of the time people only talk to me for that reason.. not because they want to know 'the real me'." She explains. Alright, but I'm still not clear on who her mom is?

"What do you mean?" I ask, laughing a bit. "My mom is a representative for the state of California. She's been under a lot of scrutiny since she was elected and you'd be surprised at the number of people who try and get close to me in hopes of getting a sit down with her." Jennifer says, sipping her water. "Oh, right. I've never followed that sort of thing too closely." I say, truthfully. I don't know anything about government or political things.

"Forgive me if I am wrong, but you don't seem too thrilled to talk about either of your parents?" "I don't have the best relationship with them. My sister and brother are the favorites. I'm just the gay daughter who didn't go to college and get a degree. Meanwhile, my sister is one of the most illustrious lawyers around here, she married a neurosurgeon and now has two kids and lives in a house that could house a small army. My brother isn't far off. He makes six figures as an advertising sales director and has a beautiful wife with one kid. So, I'm definitely the eccentric kid compared to them." Jennifer says. Judging by her tone, she feels strongly about this.

I press my lips and reach over and grab her fingers, "I don't think you're just the gay daughter... I think it's good, brave. You aren't afraid of what might happen and you're super independent. I don't think there is anything bad about those qualities, Jennifer." I say softly. Too deep? Too soon? Maybe.

Jennifer gives me a soft smile and the waiter comes over. I release her hand and she looks up at the waiter, "One check." she says. I give her a look, but deep inside I'm glad she is picking this up. I have no money at the moment. The waiter checks us out and Jennifer leaves a tip before we head back to her car. She drives to her apartment and we go upstairs.

I close the door and when I turn around I'm looking at Jennifer's stomach and under-boob. She just pulled her hoodie off and her shirt went with it. She tosses it to the side and grins at me, "Like what you see?" she teases, noticing my staring. I lick my lips and nod slowly as she pulls her shirt down. I bring my eyes up to hers and my heart starts beating more rapidly and my breathing starts to get uneasy. I swallow hard and Jennifer steps into me, kissing me slowly. I let her do what she wants with me, I am way too shy and unexperienced to even think about taking the lead.

Before I know it, she's pushed me against the wall and her hands are putting enormous amounts of pressure against my waist. She does the thing with her teeth again and I exhale softly. "Mhm." I breathe. As the air leaves my mouth she grips my waist a bit tighter and I feel her warm tongue brush against my lip. I take to her French kiss and she keeps going, getting more and more generous with her tongue each time her lips move against mine.

She slowly stops kissing me and looks at me with these tired, sexy eyes. "You've got soft lips." I whisper, stroking her cheek with my thumb. I watch a faint smile appear on her face and she pushes away from me and starts walking.

With her back to me, she pulls her shirt off of her body and drops it beside her. I stare at her bare, muscular back and watch as she disappears into her bedroom. God.
