Mal, Jay and Carlos rushed down the hall to the boys' dorm. Mal threw the door open and saw Evie laying unconscious on Carlos's bed. She ran over and dropped to her knees beside the bed.

"Evie, I'm sorry I didn't let you explain. I was just overwhelmed and ..."

"Jealous?" Jay asked.

Mal sighed. "...Yeah. Please, Evie, pleeease stay with us. I can't imagine a world without you in it."

By now, Carlos had called an ambulance and two of the paramedics had taken Evie off to the hospital. One stayed behind to talk with the other three VKs.

"We have come to a conclusion that Evelyn Queen is in the worst state of Jungle Worms. She may not survive." The paramedic explained, causing Mal to burst into tears.

If you've seen the first Descendants movie, then you would know Mal said she doesn't cry. She lied.

"This is all my fault. If I had listened to her and let her explain, she wouldn't be dying. I'm the worst friend in all of Auradon." Mal sobbed into Jay.

"Hey, you can't blame yourself, Mal." Jay said, hugging her. "If Carlos kissed my girlfriend, I wouldn't listen to him either."

"How is that meant to make me feel better?" Mal asked.

"I mean, you're not a bad friend." Jay said, looking into Mal's grey eyes. "Sure you locked her in Carlos's mum's fur closet, but we know you'd never mean to kill Evie."

When Carlos finished talking with the paramedic, he walked over to his friends. "Let's go see if Evie's okay at the hospital."

Mal paced back and forth in the hall outside Evie's room at the hospital, while Jay leaned against the wall and Carlos sat at one of the waiting chairs.

"Mal, would stop pacing?" Carlos asked annoyed.

"How would you feel if your best friend was in hospital unconscious?!"

Carlos looked away. "Sorry."

A doctor walked out with a clipboard and a ... Walking Evie!

"Evie! You're okay!" Mal said, as she threw her arms around the young bluenette.

"Not a good idea." Evie coughed. "I still have jungle worms."

"Yeah, and on an unrelated note, Evie, I'm sorry I didn't listen to you. I should've listened. I guess I was just jealous because I thought you'd steal Ben from me." Mal apologised.

"You think I'd steal Ben from you? M, I'd never do that." Evie said. "Plus, I'm way out of his league. And there's another guy I like."

Mal, Jay and Carlos exchanged looks.

"I'm not gonna give you any clues, but he's the same age, he's super cute in his uniform and the way he styles his hair is supes adorbs." Evie and Mal walked down the hall, Mal trying to figure out her best friends crush. "Mal, I'm not telling you who he is. It would just make it awkward."

"Pleeease, E. I'm your best friend." Mal gave Evie the pouty face.

"Ain't gonna work, missy." Evie tapped on the purple haired girl's nose. The two girls laughed as they continued walking down the hall, Carlos and Jay trailing behind. "Oh, and his name starts with C."

Hey, guys. Glad Evie's okay? I got quite worried there. Do you know who Evie's crush is? Just a reminder, he's the same age as Evie, he wears a uniform and he styles his hair that makes Evie fall head over heels for him, and I mean literally.
