Chapter 43 Rai

Illa, and I walked into the cave. The walls of the cave had paintings of lightening. At the end of the cave was a throne. The Throne was lightening yellow. It had lightning bolts on either side of the Throne.

"This is defiantly Rai's throne." I said.Lightning shot down onto the throne. When the light disappear I as a man sitting on the throne. He had long white hair, and a long white beard. He had a scar over one eye. His face was old, and wrinkly. He had Lighting yellow eyes. He was wearing a long white robe.

"Thank you for saving me, Tyson."

"It was our pleasure."

"I think your friends should be here too, don't you?"

"Ye, but how would they get here?"

"A god can do many things." Four lightning bolts came down. Julia, Jason, Cypress, and Ishio appeared.

"Wow what was that?!?" Julia asked in shock.

"It looks like Tyson killed the Thunder Bird without us." Jason said.

"Great job Tyson." Cypress said. "I knew you could do it."

"Thank you."

"I need to thank you all." Ria said.

"I assumed it was you, who brought us here." Ishio said.

"I am the second god you have saved, is the correct?"

"Yes I replied."

"That's good. Tyson are you ready to accept the Lighting Crystal?"

"Yes I am!" Rai held out his arms, and a yellow crystal floated through the air. It touched my chest, and I absorbed the crystal. I felt power flowing through my veins. It was the weirdest feeling that I have ever felt. The feeling stopped, and I didn't feel like anything was different.

"You are now a master sorcerer. Now you can fly people, you have more stamina. You can also create weapons out of lightning."

"That is so cool." I said.

"Sweet so that is how we will get back." Cypress said.

"So the next god we should save is Aizber?" Julia asked.

"Yes."

"Things went a little differently than planned." I said.

"Not to worry. When I was trapped by that beast I couldn't see what the situation was like in the village. It seems that the people's hatred for the old Chef out wade the hatred for other skin colours. With our new Chef people will learn to accept everyone."

"Wait are you talking about me?" Ishio asked.

"But of course who else would I be talking about?"

"We heard that Preface Zeu wasn't a god before. How does one become a god?" I asked.

"You have to kill a god, to become one."

"I thought gods were immortal." Julia said.

"We call it killing a god, but they don't die. You just have to beat a god in battle. You steal their powers, and you become immortal."

"What happens to a god after they are beaten?" Jason asked.

"They have no powers. They just live like any normal person, excepted they can't die."

"That is harsh." Illa said. "Not being able to die."

"It would not be a fun life that is for sure." Rai said.
