Darien POV
I have finally decided to go talk to Jaleny. I don't like this whole thing between us and I want to fix it but that's going to be hard. JJ has to fix herself in order for this relationship to work.
I walked up to her front door and knocked. The door opened to reveal Uncle Marcus.
"Hey Uncle. I was wondering if Jaleny is home." I said, trying to make this less awkward than it already is.
"Mhm. She is in her room." He said walking away. I don't blame him for acting like that. I know he still loves me but I know if I found my daughter fucking someone in my house, I would be pissed the hell off.
I jogged up the stairs and opened Jaleny's door which was fixed.
She wasn't anywhere in sight but her bathroom door was closed and I could hear gagging. Hell no. If she is throwing up I'm going to be pissed the hell off.
I tried to open the door but it was locked. Shit.
"Open up Jaleny!" I yelled banging on the door. I continued to bang for another two minutes. Finally she opened the door.
I walked in as she started to brush her teeth.
"Why were you throwing up?" I asked leaning on the door. I waited for her to finish up before she answered.
"I haven't eaten in a couple days." She mumbled. She tried to walk past me but I grabbed her arm, pulling her in to my chest.
"What is wrong with you? Why haven't you eaten?" I asked. She looked anywhere but my face.
"Because I have been down in the dumps. I'm fine now." She said. Trying to pull away put l kept her in place.
"No you're not. Are you upset about us? Is that it?" I asked. She didn't answer me but her facial expression said enough.
"I told you you have to work on yourself in order for us to be together. Starving yourself isn't doing shit but pushing me away. Do you want that? You want me to go away?!" I raised my voice. She shook her head no while tears fell down her face.
"Then fix yourself because I can't do that for you. I love you and I know that you love me but you don't love yourself and that is the problem." I said. I put my finger under her chin and raised her head so that she can look at me.
"I'm sorry." She whispered. I don't want her apologizing.
"Just promise you will try and help yourself. For me." I said, stroking her baby curls back from her face. She nodded and I wiped some tears from her eyes.
Everyone knows that I will go through hell and back for this girl but I don't think that us being fully together is what's best for her. I don't know when all this shit started happening in her life but it doesn't matter. I want her to get better and I can't help her with that other than supporting her.
Marcus POV
Ariela has been acting really distant lately. I'm still trying to put the last touches on the proposal.
"Rochelle you want to help daddy out with something real quick?" I asked my daughter as I walked in to her room. She looked up at me from her iPad.
"What is it?" She asked with a smile.
"I want you to go ask mommy what's wrong with her." I said. She nodded and went right to it.
I know that if I ask Ari she won't tell me. She just might tell Rochelle.
A couple of minutes later she came skipping back in to her room.
"She said she is fine. Also to ask by yourself." She said. I smacked my lips and walked to our room.
