Jerome POV

Honestly, this summer is boring as hell without Giselle. I miss spending time with her because there was never a dull moment. The thing is, is that she played me and that shit hurts.

Even while I'm fucking another bitch I think about her. I miss our sex. Best sex I ever had in my life. I never get tired and it's ten times better because I actually love Giselle.

I don't know if she is telling the truth about everything or not but I mean the evidence is right here. I can't look past that!

"Jerome." I looked at my room door and saw Rochelle with her hair all around her head and in its curly state.

"Wassup?" I asked, sitting up on the bed.

"Can you please help me with my project. Dad said I can't put the glitter on by myself." She pouted. I got up and slipped on my Nike slides.

"Where is Jaleny?" I asked. She shrugged. I followed her out of my room. We went all the way downstairs and in to the den. She had eveything set up.

"Alright. Let's get to work." I said.

I was hella focused, putting this glue on the letters and the glitter. Struggles of being a big brother and having a 5 year old sister.

"I need it to be perfect because these girls are expecting me to fail." She said. I looked at her confused.

"Who?" I asked.

"Some girls. Well, they don't like me because of you." she said as she started to staple photos to patterned paper.

"What the hell? I don't even know your friends." I said. Damn, even first graders know me.

"One girl said that her sister told her not to like me because you messed with her heart. I was so close to busting out in Spanish and cussing her out Romeo. She just pissed me all the way off." she huffed. I laughed and kissed her cheek.

"It's all good. Don't worry about her. Remember what I said." I said as I put the finishing touches on the glitter.

"They don't like me because they want to be me!"

"That's right."

I got up just as my phone started ringing.

"I'm gonna go show daddy!" she screamed as she went upstairs with her poster.

I checked my phone and saw that it is Giselle calling me. Should I pick up? Shit, I miss her voice.

"Hello."

"Oh, Jerome. I didn't expect you to pick up."

"Yah, I did. Wassup?" I asked as I sat on the couch.

"Uhm, I was wondering if you were home."

"Yah I am. Why?"

"Can I come over. I think that really need to sit down and talk." She said. I sighed and rubbed my face.

"Aight, come on." I said. She let out a breath like as if she was holding it.

"Alright. See you soon." I hung up and slipped my phone back in my pocket.

I'm actually a little excited to see her. I honestly do miss her. I can't front.

......................

I heard a knock on my room door and groaned. I was damn close to a nap. I got out of bed as the breeze from my open window hit my bare chest. I opened my room door to be met with Giselle. I opened it wider and let her in.

"Your mom let me in." She said. I nodded and laid back down on my bed she laid next to me.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Us. This whole situation." She said. I nodded and gave her all my attention.

Listen Jerome, I swear that I did not send the text message. I had no reason to. Nothing ever got that serious that breaking up with you would even cross my mind. Especially say you should go out with Hera. I hate her!" She said, making a little bit of sense.

"What about the text though. It came from YOU! Everything always comes back to that text." I stressed to her. She sighed and shook her head.

"Lemme see the screenshot." She said. I unlocked my phone and showed it to her. She read it and then handed my phone back to me.

"I didn't send it. You know me right? more than anyone?" She asked me.

"I guess."

"Ok, that text was sent on a Sunday. The time was when I was in church! I NEVER use my phone in the house of God! You know this because I have never texted you while I'm in church. I can't believe you over looked that." She said as her eyes started to water.

I sighed and rubbed my face. I hate to admit it but she is right. She don't ever text in church. No matter what. I know that for a fact.

"Ok but then who would send it?" I asked. She wiped some tears away and looked at me.

"Who else? Hera of course. She is such a hateful bitch! She wants us to be over. She had been so happy since we broke up." She said as she shook her head. More tears came out from her eyes and she was just crying.

I sighed and pulled her closer to me. She buried her head in to my chest and cried.

"Why are you crying ma?"

"Because she is getting what she wants and it's effecting me. I hate it. I hate that we are not together because of her! I hate it and I hate her!" she managed to get out.

"I'm sorry that I flipped out on you and didn't let you explain anything and for ignoring you. You know I love you no matter what. It hurts to see you cry right now."

"I know. It's ok. It's not your fault you reacted how any other person would act. I just want us together again." She said, lifting her head to look at me.

I wiped the tears from her checks and gave a long and passionate kiss.

"I missed those lips." I mumbled. On her lips. She smiled and pulled back.

"I missed you." She said, making me smile.

I got my girl back.
