Ethan sat in the grass,the darkness of night nearly hiding his pure, black cat from the untrained eye. He stroked the familiar's fur while gazing into the water of the pond in front of him.
Why was she here and why did she leave?
The feline purred as it was petted. Ethan picked it up and slightly nuzzled it. He continued to stare into the water,waiting for an answer to pop into his head.
Maybe she really was messing with something far more powerful then he thought. Al always left at the same time each day to come...here...this ugly old pond.
Maybe he would get his chance to ask her if she came to his hangout spot. In truth,he wasn't planning to use her as a sacrifice at all. Ethan simply wanted to scare her into coming, since he knew she knew he knew the trio who beat her up the other day...
Ethan stood up and lovingly placed his cat on his shoulder. He turned around and took his leave,hoping he wouldn't have to return to this creepy place.
