Lylas prov....

8 months pregnant and 10 months to go.

There was a knock on our door one evening.

I opened it and my Dad barged in.

"Dad!" I was surprised to see him.

"I have a cure!" He shouted.

He stopped and looked at me.

"You're huge" he said.

"Nice to see you to Dad" I replied.

"You found a cure?!" Kaleb came as fast as he could.

"Yes, it should work. We have to make it but I brought all the ingredients" The Doctor said.

"How do we make it?" I asked.

"Leave me alone" dad replied and went to the kitchen.

"For how long?" I shouted after him.

"How ever long it takes" Dad shouted back.

I sat on the couch and turned on the tv.

Kaleb slowly made his way over and sat next to me.

"Lyla?" He asked.

"Yes?" I answered.

"I miss you" he told me.

"Kaleb I'm right here" I said hugging him.

"No not like that miss, I miss seeing you" he said.

"The Doctors going to fix that" I assured him.

"What if it doesn't work?" He asked.

"It'll work, Dad always makes things better" I said.

I leaned up and gently kissed Kaleb.

We watched tv for about an hour.

"Lyla! Kaleb!" Dad ran from the kitchen.

"What!" I was awoken by his screams.

"It's ready" he said.

Dad was holding a bowl of what looked like soup and he was wearing my apron

"It's done?" I asked getting up.

"Yea" he smiled.

"Soup?" Kaleb asked when The Doctor gave him the bowl.

"Kind of, it's from Matryuion leaves, ancient civilizations use it to cure blindness and other problems, but yea soup" The Doctor explained.

Kaleb ate it and the The Doctor told him to go to bed.

"How long will it take?" I asked.

"Till about tomorrow morning" Dad answered.

"Really! That's great" I hugged Dad.

"Now Lyla don't get to over excited now, it might not work, all we can do now is hope that it does" The Doctor added.

He gave me a hug and then left.

I went and laid down next to Kaleb.

"Hey, babe" he said.

"You, are suppose to be asleep" I scolded.

"I can't, not knowing that I'm so close to seeing you again" he said.

He draped his arm over my stomach.

"I can't wait till tomorrow" he sighed.

"Me neither" I said.

I smiled a big grin but he couldn't tell.

Actually I really hated him being like this, no matter what The Doctor told me, blind Kaleb wasn't the same as before
