Still My Hero

"Do I look okay?" I asked turning to Allison. "You look perfect!" He smiled nodding.

I turned back glancing in the mirror one last time at my black dress that hit a little above my knees, that I paired with a pair of my favorite black heels. It was a simple dress, but I decided to dress it down a little with my blue jean jacket. It was cool outside though, so it would come in handy.

I walked down the stairs with Allison on my heals, to meet my date, that for some reason I let Allison convince me to go on.

"Hi." I smiled walking into the living room seeing Josh sitting there with Scott staring at him, he was even more against this than I was.

He instantly stood up seeing me "Hey." He smiled looking a little nervous. "Let's get out if here" I said so I could get him away from Scott so he could breath.

"Sounds great" he replied and laughed, wow he had a gorgeous smile. He walked closer to me and I grabbed my purse from Allison.

"I'll see you later girly, thanks!" I gave her a hug. "Don't wait up Scott." I winked at him laughing and started heading for the door. "Wait" He order and I stopped and and turned back around, and he was coming towards me.

"Yes?" I asked, but he didn't answer me. He turned my back to Josh pulling me into a hug. Gosh he needs to relax, he was most definitely giving Josh a death stare right now.

He finally released me "Relax Scott." I said looking up at him. He doesn't even know Josh really, he plays lacrosse with him but I know if he thought he was bad, he wouldn't be letting me go out with him.

We finally got out of the door and He opened the door to his midnight blue truck for me. Aw, the last person to open a door for me was.. was Stiles. I shake my head, I refuse to think about him. I'm gonna have a fun date.

"Something wrong?" He asked waiting for me to get in the car. "No sorry." I replied and then went to get in the truck, but paused. There was a bouquet of flowers sitting up in the passenger set.

"Are those for me?" I asked and then felt a little dumb, but you never know. "Yeah, I hope you like them." He said shyly. Aw how sweet! I bent down picking them up, and smelled them, how pretty! I looked up at him, and he was blushing a little.

"Their really pretty, thank you." I smiled and gave him a quick hug thanking him, and then turned sitting in the passenger seat,hopping a little to get in. He shut my door and quickly walked around letting him self in. We made small talk on the way their and right before we pulled into the restaurant he asked "You like Italian right?" He asked looking over to me, but keeping his eyes on the road.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I asked confused. There is no way he could have just known that. Italian was my favorite, but only people close to me knew that, which made me think.

"Allison?" I asked turning to him, and he nodded smiling. I gonna kill her later. We got out and headed inside, and I smoothed out the back of my dress as I walked.

We walked in and you couldn't help but to take in a deep breath, because it smells incredible. "How many?" I looked over to see a blonde lady a little taller than me looking at Josh and I.

"Just two." Josh answered and the lady nodded nodded smiling at us. "This way." she said and waved her hand for us to follow.

She took us to a booth toward the back of the restaurant, and Josh slid in. I debated sitting on that side of the booth with him, but it's a first date, baby steps.

I took a seat on the other side, and the blonde lady set a menu in front of each of us, that I didn't need. I know exactly what I'm getting because I get the same thing every time I come here.
