The last time

Chapter Four

Right after Finn told us we were all going on a trip, grandma and I were the only ones that had to pack a bag, and Luke had to call my mom and tell her something had come up, and she could either come with, or he'd see her when he got back into town. She chose the second option. Luke looked over at me apologetically, as we all loaded up into Finn's car, Why does my mom hate me now, I thought to myself. "Finn, where are we going?" I looked over at him and he had  a sly smile on his face. "That's not of importance love, just relax and enjoy the ride." I looked around, the only ones that were missing was Robert, Colin, and my dad. "Where is Colin, Robert and my dad at Finn?" He looked away, "They left ahead of us, they'll meet us at our destination, Love. No need to worry." I decided to let it go, nobody would get anything out of Finn if he didn't want to share.

We got to the airlanding, boarded Colin's plane, I got comfortable and relaxed and went to sleep until Finn woke me up however long later that it was, who was supposed to be keeping track of the time, and told me to put a blindfold on before he would let me off the plane. "Finn, I am pregnant, I am not putting this on before I get off the plane." He looked at me, "well, then love, you won't be getting off the plane if you don't put it on, theres nothing to fear, ill be right in front of you, leading the way, and your dad will be behind you, so you don't fall backwards." I finally let him blindfold me.

"Hey hun," My dad was there, so I was a little less worried, "Love, i've got your hand." I could feel FInn grab my hand in the front, and we were walking. It felt like I was walking all over sticks and limbs and gravel. It reminded me of the first LDB event that I had gone to, my freshmen year at Yale, with Logan when he told me I had to be blindfolded, and Colin was driving the getaway car with me in tow. I couldn't help but smile at the memory. Dad had his hand over my back so i could feel him as well, "What are you smiling about, Ror?" Everytime I think about the LDB events, that led to falling in love with Logan, I always forget other people are around me. "Memories, dad. Just memories." I still had a smile on my face.

We were still walking and it seemed like we had a ways to go, I was actually starting to get worried, when I seen a light up ahead, it looked like a campfire, and it kept spitting and sputtering the sparks all over the place, and hearing more male and female voice I didn't recognize, and some I hadn't heard for quite sometime. 

Finn let my dad remove my blindfold, and when he did it was just like my first event I had gone too, only everybody but 3 people that I loved were there, the 3 being Logan, my grandpa, and my mom. I felt somebody come up behind me, spin me around and I was so shocked to see who it was. "Rory! I missed you so much!" 

"Honor! What are you doing here?!" I had never seen Honor without Logan, but those times have definitely passed now. "Finn, told me he needed reinforcements, and when he told me who the reinforcements were for, I all but jumped at the chance, mom and dad have my kids, only because they have no idea what this weekend involved, and Josh is here as well, just so he could be around other guys." She smiled, and gave me another warm hug. We walked to where everyone was sitting around the fire, and sat down. Finn handed out sticks with hotdogs on them, I was even shocked to see my grandma roasting a hotdog and putting it in a bun, with ketchup, and mustard. I didn't even think she knew what those condiments were. 

As we were sitting there enjoying ourselves, and started roasting smores, Finn told me to go into the tent and get changed and come back out. "Finn, I have nothing to change into, everything is still on the plane." Finn looked at Honor and grinned. "Follow me, Rory." I looked at Honor, who started leading the way. We got into the tent, and there was a box with my name on it. 

"Honor, what is this?" She smiled and started to undress herself. "This one is yours, this is mine. Finn told me to get 2 dresses that he was paying for them, and to get one in your size and one in mine of the same exact ones, and we were needed elsewhere after leaving the tent." So I did as I was told, and put the dress on, It was a beautiful blue, looking like the same exact dress from my first event, but it couldn't be. 

We left the tent and everyone else had left, so Honor leading me the right way after blindfolding me again, and yes just in case anybody is wondering I have officially started to hate blindfolds.

We walked about 150 feet if my calculations were correct and she took the blindfold off, I looked up, and we were jumping again! Finn told me to climb to the top. Honor and Josh were jumping, so was Finn and Benjamin, and grandma and mom! My mom had showed up! Running to her I gave her a hug, "Mom i'm so sorry I disappointed you!" She hugged me back as she started crying. "No, Rory Im sorry, I shouldn't have said all that to you." We let go were handed umbrellas and we jumped. After I landed I was being undone from the buckle, and felt a really warm hand on the small of my back.
