The last time

Chapter Eleven

Looking up as soon as I heard the bedroom door open and a gasp, I realized it was Lorelei. I mentioned loudly to Logan, pulling on his hair, he looked at me and slid up the bed, without revealing too much, except maybe a naked butt, but mom's seen more of that with alot of others. He laid on his side of the bed with his butt sticking up in the air trying to pull the covers out from under us so he could get under them to no avail.

"Lorelei Leigh Gilmore, what do you think you're doing? This is your grandparents house, you need to show some respect!"

"Well, mom if you don't know what having sex looks like, let me explain it to you, you see when a man and woman love each other..." I was interrupted by laughter coming up the stairs from 3 different people. As they neared the bedroom door, I realized who it was. Luke, Honor, and Josh..Oh great, just what we needed...more people for this show.

"Well, first off, hello. Sorry everyone is getting to see me like this today, but my mother, here.." I pointed at her, "interrupted something between Logan and myself, now if you would all excuse us so that we could get dressed we will meet you downstairs. Honor, would you please close the door behind you. Thank you."

I couldn't believe this was happening to us today. We got up, got dressed, and in doing so looking at each we couldn't help but laugh at the predicament we had been caught in. As we were finally able to compose ourselves, and get our shoes on, we opened the door and headed downstairs to where everyone had been waiting. 

"Hello, thank you all for meeting us down here, now I will continue what I was saying. Mom, I'm sure you don't need me to explain to you what sex is, or how it's done, so i'm going to spare you on that. And I was showing respect to grandma and grandpa. I have not had sex in this house at all until today, and the only reason it was today is because..."

"Your excuse is going to be that you and Logan can't keep your hands to yourself right?" Luke tried to stop her before she finished what she was saying without success.

"Actually no, and if you'd let me finish before you interrupt me...now where was I? Oh yeah, grandma gave me the house. The papers have already been drawn up, thanks to grandma's attorney, and I can decide whether to keep this house or sell it, and if I decide to sell it, which I won't be, grandma told me whatever money comes from it, is mine to keep, to find another house, and for this baby as well. Now with all the respect I have for you, I would like you to please leave, and until you can be more respectful to myself and to Logan in our home, I don't think you should come back, and if you do decide to be more respectful towards the both of us and come back, well then you can learn to ring a doorbell." Walking towards the door, I held it open for her as she walked out and back to her car. After she walked out I had tears in my eyes, when Luke came over and gave me a hug.

"Rory, you did the right thing. I am so proud of you for standing up for what you believe in. Even when it's not something your mom agrees with." We walked back into the dining room where Logan, Honor and Josh were all sitting and waiting for us to return, and Luke set down on the couch, leaving the chair that grandpa always sat in, empty.

"Thank you, Luke. I thought she would of come around by now, and she still hasn't. I wish I knew why. Luke are you positive you can't tell me?" I looked towards him once more. He seemed to be deep in thought.

"Rory, I shouldn't but I will, but it's a lengthy explanation, do you have time or do you have plans tonight." 

"We actually have plans tonight, Luke, with my parents, but I can always cancel and we can do it some other night." Logan explained.

"No, don't cancel on it tonight. I'll go home and see if I can talk some sense into Lorelei and see if I can get her to tell you herself Rory. Go ahead and go out tonight, and i'll give you a call sometime tomorrow morning from the diner."

"Yeah, we have to be meeting mom, and dad in an hour, Logan." Honor finally stopped being silent, and spoke up. I really want to know how she managed to stay quiet for so long, it really did amaze me, that was not a good talent of hers at all.

"Great, and we still have to take a shower. Luke, I hate to do this, but could we ask you to go ahead and leave so we can get ready to meet with my parents?"

"That's not a problem, Logan. I'll talk to you two tomorrow." Luke got up to leave, and we got up to get in the shower, while Honor and Josh walked around the house, looking around. They knew the only place that was off limits was grandpa's study. Little did I know the 3 of them had a plan they were working on.

Logan and I got in the shower, not able to get back to what we were doing earlier, and got dressed. Him in a black suit and tie. "I hate going out with them, we're always expected to dress up....ugh." 

"Oh great, I've got nothing to wear all my dresses are back at mom's and Luke's in Stars Hollow. We're going to have to cancel anyways."

"No, we're not. hold on a minute, Rory." He poked his head out the door. "Honor, would you come up here a minute please." I heard footsteps in the hallway outside our bedroom door, and then voices, and now the footsteps were leaving the hallway all together. Next thing I know the footsteps were back, and there was a knock on our bedroom door.

"It's open Honor." Honor stepped in with a long white garment bag. Of course he called her ahead of time. He must have known I didn't have anything.

As she unzipped the garment bag, the most beautiful cerulean blue dress had popped out, she took it off the hangar held it open for me to step into and then zipped me up, and handed me some white heels to go with it. They were the most beautiful heels i'd ever seen. I did my hair and makeup, and was ready to go.

"Honor, and Josh are going to ride with us. I invited them to stay with us tonight, since their weekend was called short since we left the retreat earlier than expected. I hope that's okay with you."

"That's definitely fine. I love your sister and Josh. They're my favorite part of your family, after you of course." We all walked out, locked the doors, and loaded up in the car. Max downtown was only about a 15 minute drive from grandma and grandpa's but i'd never been there before. It looked so beautiful from the outside.

There was valet parking, so Logan pulled up to the door, got out, handed the key to the parking attendant, and then helped me and Honor out before walking into Max Downtown, where we were meeting his parents at. When we got inside, we seen the table right away, and they weren't sitting alone. There they were with the most beautiful blonde headed girl, i'd ever seen.
