To Beatrice,

I still remember the day that I met her. It seems like so long ago, that I shared a cigarette with her in the parking lot of the school after everyone had left. Her dad once again had forgotten to get her, and I began to wonder after just moments of talking to her how anyone could forget her. How someone could be rude to her, how someone could hate her. I wondered a lot about her, as I drove her home in my junky car. She didn't seem to care that my car was a piece of junk, maybe that's why I felt so comfortable around her. Either way, I knew I was going to like her.

"Where are we going James? Just tell meee." She whined, and I stifled a laugh. "I'm afraid I can't do that Beatrice." I grabbed her by the hand, and felt her tense up a little, but then she relaxed. I had already blindfolded her and now I began to lead her to the secret place id discovered a few days ago.

Approximately 10 minutes later.

"We're here." I smiled, and took in the sight as I loosened the bandana over her eyes. It was beautiful, the spot id found the previous week. A large lake spilled out, like a puddle of blue ink, trees surrounded it with autumn colored leaves falling around us, and the sun shining down on the beauty. I folded the bandana and she opened her eyes, "wow.... what is this place?" She asked me quietly, looking at it all. I smiled, "I like to call it nirvana." She turned around, looking satisfied and in awe. "It's beautiful, James." She sauntered over to me and hugged me tightly, "thank you for this. It's a perfect name." I hugged her back, and she let go after a quick minute. She walked out, pulling me with her onto a deck, hovering over the surpassing lake. She watched the fish swim around for a moment or two, and so did I. She turned to me with a small smirk playing on her lips, and I was confused. That was until I felt her push me. And into the water I fell. But not without dragging her with me, she looked mad when she hit the water, but then giggled, she slapped me on the chest playfully, and I laughed. "When are you ever going to get it?" I asked her, and she furrowed her natural brows, in confusion. "Get what?" She asked me, genuinely confused. I smirked, cupping her wet face in my hands. "You're my reason." I muttered, and I watched her eyes get watery. "I- I don't know what to say-." She said quietly, but I interrupted her, "shhhh." I shooshed her quickly, and my lips found hers.
She kissed me back, like nothing else mattered.

I guess I was right about this place.
