Alex Russo gets expelled from her highschool after a prank gone wrong. Theresa and Jerry (her parents) think it's best to send her to Mystic Falls, to live with their old friend.

Alex P.O.V I was driving past the "Welcome To Mystic Falls" sign. I keep thinking about my parents friend, the one I'm staying with, they said he doesn't know about magic, and that's a relief, I don't want anyone to know until I tell them and trust them enough with it, hell I'll probably never find anyone interesting enough to trust with my most guarded secret in this hick of a town. - I really wanted to get a bite to eat because I haven't eaten anything since I left but I knew that I need to unpack and meet the person I'll be living with for the time being. As the GPS in my sleek black car signals my destination so I stop the car and unplug my seatbelt. I put my trusty wand in my back pocket of my jeans and pull my purple wavy top over it, then adjusting my boots.
I walk around the back of my car and grab the 2 huge suitcases with all my clothes and valuables in them out of the car, and lock the car. Slowly I walk up to the house that I'll be staying, I mean it looks good enough, it's no mansion but it'll do.
I carefully drop my suitcases and knock on the door whilst straightening my clothes up. The door opens and I see this Dad hottie guy standing there.
"Hi. I'm Alex Russo, the person that's going to be staying with you." I say bluntly.
"Oh um, yeah right I'm Alaric Saltzman but you can call me Ric if you want."
"Will do," I reply while getting my two suitcases. "Where can I put these Ric?" I ask politely, wow that was difficult, how do people be polite all the time, so much work.
"Oh here let me get those, your room is just upstairs, if you'll follow me Alex."
As I go upstairs I look at his ass, it's a nice ass to be honest, I never really liked skinny ass people, I like them plump and round. I quickly advert my eyes just to make sure I wasn't caught staring.
Rick and I arrive at my room, it's a big space with a queen bed in the middle, mint green wall paper, a good view from the mirror next to the bed, a built in glass walk in wardrobe, a rug, a big fluffy hanging light and two little cushions at the end of the bed.

Connecting to my room is a bathroom, when I first looks at it I was shocked it looked so fancy with the huge shower, tub and marble counters.

"So do you like it? I cleaned up the bathroom, and I had some decorates do your room" Alaric asked, and he seemed nervous about my response, Mum and Dad must of told him I have a temper. Rude.
"Yeah I love it thank you so much-" just as I was about to finish my sentence my stomach rumbles.
"Oh your probably starving, how about you unpack while I get dressed then I can show you around Mystic Falls?" "That would be great." I replied. Wow this guy is nice, hot and nice, he must have a girlfriend (or boyfriend, I don't discriminate). "Okay just tell me when your ready." and then he leaves my room, shutting the door quietly on his way out.
Okay Alex, let's unpack.

After I unpack and put all my clothes, shoes, my jewellery and makeup in the the walk-in wardrobe and my wizardry stuff under my bed I walk out my door, grabbing my phone and making sure my wand is safely tucked away under my jeans I go find Alaric so I can finally get something to eat.

Alaric and I arrive at this place called Mystic Grill, honestly not very original but what can you expect from a small town. Not much I'll tell you that. On our way in, every head turns our way, like I said you can't expect much in a small town, I'm probably the first person they have seen from out of town in a while.
"So Ric, what do you do?"
"Oh well I'm a teacher at Mystic Falls High School, you'll be going there tomorrow."
"Okay dokey."
Im trying to hide the fact that I hate small talk and just want to eat.
"What are some of your hobbies Alex?" He asked me, I don't know if he's just making small talk or actually interested.
"Well my hobby is to poke things with a stick, but I haven't figured out how to make money out of so I have to go to highschool."
"Oh uh okay great, everyone needs a hobby." he said and looks at me like I'm a little crazy, honestly he wouldn't be the first one and probably not the last.

On our way to the car, Alaric calls a guy named Damon and tells him to get everyone to the Boarding House to meet me. Wow, I took Alaric for the loner type but he actually has more then one friend. Interesting. Oh well, time to meet the gang.
