CHAPTER FIVE

Alex's POV
I woke up the next day and remembered what happened yesterday afternoon

Flashback:
"Right, don't mind us" Kol said

Oh my, he's accent is to die for.
As I turn around in my seat to get a better look at them, I see them, wow they are both so cute, the brunette more then the blonde, at least to me.

"And who are you love?" Klaus said seductively

"Alex Russo, love" I said impersonating his British accent.

Kol chuckled and said "I like you Russo" and chuckled some more.

I smile back at him. "I'll see you guys around" and walked out the door, feeling eyes on me as I go.

End of Flashback.

The originals, I met two of the five originals, and if those two are like their family, this little trip won't be so bad after all.

When I go outside I stop at the doorway, seeing a letter addressed to me.

Alex Russo
Mikaelson's Ball
Tomorrow Night, Arrive at 7:00 PM

Uh. I guess I'm going to a ball, nothing else to do in this dreadful town anyway.

I go shopping for a dress and shoes, definitely not high heels though, how could someone walk in them? I tried once and let's just say magic doesn't help. (Dress that she's wearing is up top) I steal a red dress with a slit down the side and red converse shoes. I can not believe I spent the whole day shopping for a dress I'll probably only use once, oh well at least the red converses are useful.

I arrive at the Mikaelson's house, and let me tell you, it's not a house, it's a freakin mansion, and it makes the Salvatore's 'mansion' look like a house!

As I step inside I feel eyes on me. Creepy. I look up to see Kol coming towards me.

"Hello love, glad you came." He said as he gently grabbed my hand and bent over to kiss it. Don't blush, don't blush Alex!

"Me too, you have a beautiful mansion." Oh my god, a beautiful mansion? Seriously. Oh great, I'm blushing.

"Thank you love, you have a beautiful dress, and I love the shoes." He chucked.

"Thanks, I stole them." I smile innocently at him.

He concentrates for a second, probably to hear my heartbeat. It's as steady as it could be. He smiles widely at me.

"We are going to have so much fun together love."

"I'm looking forward to it love." I say back.

As I step away and look up I see the rest of the Mikaelson family up on the stairs, Kol goes to join them.

The one that speaks first is the one in a dazzling suit, with brown hair and a handsome face, I just described Kol.
Whoops.

"Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Elijah, and this is my family, my mother Esther, my siblings Fin, Niklaus, Kol and Rebekah, and we are the Mikaelsons."

Okay so that was Elijah, he seems oddly noble.
I look more closely at them, Esther, I immediately don't trust her, her magic is out of control, Fin seems like he has a stick up is ass, he probably does. Niklaus seems dangerous, yet they all seem dangerous, he seems the most vulnerable oddly enough. Kol, well I like him, and I've already made up my mind, I will know more about him. Lastly is Rebekah, she seems like a spoiled brat, and being the only (known) girl sibling in the family the brothers probably protected her and spoiled her so I have to speak to her to get a feel of her.
I have a strange protective feeling over this family, except Esther I want to kill her, but I can't figure out why.

"And lastly thank you all for coming, the wine will be coming around shortly so let's give a toast, to new beginnings." Elijah said passionately.

My wine came around, and I smelt it, it's a habit I picked up after someone drugged my drink at a school dance, luckily my magic absorbed the drug out of my system so I could get away, that was my first time killing someone, I was 14.

I smelt something weird in the cocktail so I decided to fake drinking it while using my magic so it looks like I have drunk it all. I look up to see the Mikaelson's drink there's too, but actually drink it, then I see the Scooby Doo Gang look at the Mikaelson's too, and when they finish drinking them, Esther and the gang look oddly satisfied, I'll have to keep a much closer eye on them, they will not and can not touch The Originals.
I smirk inwardly.
I'll have to somehow get them all in a room with no one watching so I can put a protection spell on them, so strong that not even that wannabe soon to be dead again witch Esther can't break.

Wooooo, that took forever to make and I'm soooo sorry!!! Part 2 of the Mikaelson's Ball will take a while to finish, but it will come!

Hope you like this chapter, I know Alex doesn't speak much to people, but as the series progresses she will.
