     Chapter Eleven

Lacey P.O.V

Dylan Thomas once said, "Though lovers shall be lost love shall not."

I think that sums up the whole dilemma with my mates. We were all lost from each other but the hidden love we have was never lost. I felt like apart of me that I never knew was missing was found once William arrived.

I shifted on the bed tilting my head at the two men in front of me; studying them. They are both so perfect I can't fathom not being with either of them. To think I had to die to be both their mates. Then it hit me. I'm not supposed to be alive. I gasped earning two concerned looks. Tears filled my eyes and I clambered off the bed rushing towards the door.  I fumbled with the lock. Once I unlocked the door I wrenched it open and booked it down the hall towards the exit ignoring the cries for me to stop. I made it outside and sprinted towards the woods.

Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out.

I just kept chanting it over and over in my mind. I was numb and that's the way I wanted it. I didn't want to think about the fact my whole life was a lie. That my existence was a lie. Every time I thought of it I pushed myself harder. Till it hurt. My heart was beating erratically, my lungs were burning and my legs were going to give out sometime soon, but I'm not stopping. Running makes me forget.

Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out. Don't look back. Just keep running. Run it out.

I don't know how long I've been running or what time it is. The sun was beginning to set and my breathing was becoming a lot more than labored.  I heard a twig snap and my head whipped to the left. I sped up afraid of what might have caused it. Again a twig snapped this time to my right. My vision was becoming blurry. I was feeling light headed and it felt like my heart was constricting painfully in my chest. I cried out grabbing my chest before sinking to the ground. I saw paws and a pair of shoes rush towards me.

     And then there was nothing.

Sorry it's incredibly short! Let me know what you think. This is not edited.
